We'll have a tough week talking about this, play with a great attitude against Storm and either just win or lust lose. Either way, everyone will say there's a new attitude and Taylor will be safe.

If we bomb next week after ttitude of the last 2 weeks, then the players have decided to effectively fire him. That would be awful as I hate that Avenue of action by players, but it's possible.

Is Taylor the problem, or is it temperament of the team with no belief or leaders to be resilient when things go wrong? Maybe it's both, but the coach is only part of that solution. Leadership team in the side need to evaluate how to be in that role, and ASAP.

I dunno if JT will be sacked, dont care really…I honestly think they will perservere, we seem to be happy to make up the numbers, fill a quota in this comp...everything at WTs is done onthe cheap...all we have going for us is a big junior base, we produce kids to keep this comp going

Yes we need a new coach, but if you want a winning team we need at least two quality centres,two quality back rowers,one prop and plenty of depth because a new coach with our roster has no chance, I would say we now probably have the most average roster in the NRL

Agreed- we need a 3,4,8 and another quality bench front rower to be competitive. The likes of Aloai, Lawrence, Ava, Sue can fight for bench spots.

I have supported Taylor, albeit sceptical. Not anymore. He lost me big time today with his selecrions. And some of the things we were doing we looked uncoached. What happened to the sweeping backline plays for Tedesco from last year? Have we done one this season? Seems like Teddy has to inject himself and make things happen, nothing created for him at all.

Moses charges in like Brooks did las week, was he taking the piss out of us or did that mistake by Brooks not get addressed during the week?

Rapana's first try there were so many childish mistakes i seriously wonder if we are coached at all. Suli gets caught well in field so they attack his side. When they go there Grant is outside Lawrence. Why was the slower Grant outside Lawrence defending our line? These things shouldn't be happening. Naqaima makes the same mistake every week, he comes in on Moses' man leaving Nofo stranded, has this been addressed by Taylor? If so, then drop Kev for making the same mistake over and over.

Taylor has to go now. The club needs a massive shake up. Only 2 off contract i consider must keeps areTeddy and Nofo.

That edge defence is a strategy to rush in. If anyone cant admit that they are kidding themselves. Now their are some poor individual reads as well. However if you don't think it is a coaching issue as well your turning a blind eye.

Eddie, its 100% a coaching tip. Thats what you do when you have 3 imbeciles out wide that cant tackle for xxxx!

Would you prefer they stood back and waited? I think the coach has done what any other would do to negate a weakness. But the other solution is picking some other deadbeat out of reggies and it will be no better, just different names.

Whilst i think Taylor wont be renewed regardless, im not sure what other options there are.

I know our list is average mate.

Taylor should not have been so bullish about it when he came in.

Thats why i go hard at him. He openly dished Potter and Sheens.

Well mate we had our get together last week and we sat in 35 degree heat to get crap dished up to us…sat at home today with a six pack and got the same crap dished up to us again.....SO it's DEFINATELY not us putting the mock a on them,it's that there not NRL standard players...just show ponies having a stopover ...until some idiot gives them more money than we can.......

Even worse, look at our team this week and last week, they were gassed after 30 odd mins in both games, I don;t see how we can be so aerobically deficient compared to other teams. Even our attack looks like crap, and thats our strongest suit !

I think we make a play for Des or Cleary. Cleary isnt phased to the old clean out ala Penrith. The reason i say go for Des, he might play ugly football, but he knows what it takes to make the finals and he will piss the whole "focus on the juniors" mentality that, for the past god knows how many years, we think will work for us. We need some players who we know can play, not ones we think will make the step up. Too many promising players, not enough players who are already there.

I have pushed to keep Taylor solely on the grounds he was given a job to do and a timeframe to complete it. However on the surface it would appear that the team is just not putting in with him as coach and its time to cut ties. Give the Big 4 ( what a joke that is ) what they want and install Payten as caretaker for the rest of the year on the proviso if he doesnt make the 8 he will not be offered the coaching position. Also put all players on notice that they got what they wanted - perform or perish - and i mean all players. I would rather wipe the slate clean and show backstabbing egotistical players the door than have to put up with the same sagas year in year out.

I don't mind Taylor, but if we haven't picked things up in the next month, then we need to look for a new coach for 2018\. Needs to be a seasoned coach - no more inexperienced or experiments.
New coach means new players too - i'd try to keep the 2018 cap/roster as flexible as possible for the new coach to sweep the place clear. Sick of the sacred cows.

I'd like to see Lawrence running off passes from JT instead of that excuse for a half we have - he doesn't know when to pass and when to hold back - the number of times Lawrence is getting the ball the same time as 3 defenders are hitting him is ridiculous.

Agree with this, he does not have the best hands, but is constantly put under pressure by flat passes at the defensive line. Brooks should be going to the line and committing defenders & giving him some depth when he catches the ball
