All I'll say on Cronk is this. Cleary is the godfather of cronks kid.

from memory smoking gun was pretty good with his inside info

however i believe the cleary/cronk god father connection was started as a joke on twitter to see how far stuff with no basis could go

i have also been told by someone fairly reliable that our offer to tedesco was good moneywise but 2 years shy of what he is after

Most likely is. But would be good news for the Wests Tigers if true. I reckon you can all but lock in Nathan Cleary coming to west tigers to play if Ivan is successful over the remainder of this season and next anyways

Now Gun that is where it starts to get hard…being successful at the Weststigers. A few good men have tried but barring one who had years of rubbish and than about 10 weeks of pure joy have failed to even come close. For most coaches its the last gig before finding a career change or centre link. Don't get me wrong Cleary is a guy who might just break the curse, but gee he has some hurdles to go over, some so big he will need a pole vault

I reckon you can rule out Brooks going to the Storm.

Watching Fox Sports today and Ben Ikin reckons Brodie Croft will be the next Storm half.

Reckons he is a Cronk clone and quite a few experts are very impressed.

Give tedesco 10 years if he wants it. Surely we arent balking at a 5 year contract.

2 words. Chris Lawrence.

Young lawrence vs young tedesco = daylight, no comparison at all. Teddy could go on to be our best ever player. He could be the benji marshall talent that wins us another premiership. I know 10 is too long, but if the only issue with the contract is the 5 years then it should be a no brainer.

I think you forget just how good Lawrence was pre-hip injury. He was on track to being the best centre in the world. Sad people forget this.

I'll get murdered here but I think that with the right coach Brooks could be better than Moses.
He is more an organising half who is being stifled by Moses.
Moses is more a flashy player more likely to score a try but much more likely to stuff up an attacking more with a silly tap on on play 2, when it's not needed.
I still wouldn't be throwing much cash at him.

Get Cronk in to mentor him and it might work.

I have always thought the same he was a different player with Potter coaching ,do not write the guy of just yet.

Brooks is coming along nicely and I hope he signs on with Cleary. He takes so much pressure off Moses on the left and will only improve under Cleary.

Any news on lawrence? Is Cleary keen on him?

Another life member about to be shown the door I think.

It's in his best interest anyway. He knows he has a year left. He could go to England and get 3 years if he went end of the year.
He might link up with Sheens again. How glorious that would be.

I think Cleary will be good for Brooks hope that he turns Luke into the same play that Nathan is.
Here's hoping.

Ahh, the Gun is back…good to finally hear a little bit of goss once again. Just hope we can strengthen our forward pack. Re-signing Teddy and co won't count for much if we don't improve in the middle and on the edges. Get that right and we'll start to rattle some sides.

The gun might be back but i havent stripped off my clothes for him just yet. From memory, nothing super startling came true before. Some other forum members were guessing with the same strike rate.

Appreciate any info IF he does have inside info, but lets just see if its true. Hold back on the lube for now people.

I agree with you both i honestly dont think Brookes was allowed to play his natural game but to be 2nd fiddle to Moses under JTs instructions
