Yep I think you need to look at all players like Moneyball. I don't think Woods is the best prop in the comp and don't rate him as a captain. We need forwards that bend the line and more importantly, hurt the opposition with their hit ups and defence. I would be focusing purely now on Teddy and investing in forwards and an experienced 5/8.

The club I believe has offered Tedesco the max deal they can afford that's not going to be to the detriment of the club. Woods asking price is high for a prop. Infact if he signs he might be the highest paid prop in the comp. is he worth it? Or can the club find the same out put from matulino/vete for example. To me as now an outsider woods has shown zero leadership as a captain. He doesn't speak with passion about the club like a James graham does for example. They have their offers. The club can do no more. I believe both will stay. If not atleast the club did everything they could do keep them and that's all u can ask for

I hope we do at least keep Teddy, I get what your saying about Woods I think that's just his larakin character he's not a captain IMO. Woods will probably end up with his brother at the dogs, and to be honest I don't think Woods is worth premier prop money.

I can't understand the angst that some posters have for posters of the ilk of SG who are providing some genuine indsider insights. Sure not everything is correct, that's the dynamic nature of contracts and footy clubs….things change. I'll tell you what reading this post beats the data less drivel served up by some here.

What I can reveal is that the original contracts to woods and brooks have been pulled and are being restructured (based on years of contracts for woods and amount of dollars and years for brooks)

New players tigers have been in discussions with are Albert vete from the warriors and whare from Penrith. But I'm sure to hear more in the coming weeks about other players which I'll update in this thread.

I'm also hearing idris and kavin naq won't be on the books next year.
