Even when we win, we still let in ridiculously soft tries. No backbone, no steel in defence. We are weak and have been for a long time. Teams must love playing us, we don't hit hard at all.

Its time Maguire took ownership of the situation the performance of the team the position on the ladder another season not making a final series ..its not just the players I have been watching this game long enough to know a coach CAN make an average player hold his own .
This is a poorly coached team last night just confirmed it ...the club can spin this any way they like ,brining in a few better quality players will not fix the issue the issue is the coach and he needs to be removed .
His record at the club just reaffirms my views the team has been on a negative downward projective since his appointment ... Its easy to blame the players its time the real blame should be brought to a head !

For me it is the non-adjustment of defensive style in our outside backs. Our forwards were pretty good on the whole yesterday, as was Brooks. But our defensive structures let in easy tries on the edges. Again - we have seen it as a huge problem for who knows how long. It should have been addressed way before yesterday's game. It's things like this that lead me to question Madge's ability to be flexible with his game plan and tactics.

You could get any wing combo out of KOE cup and they’d be better than ours now. I was fine with releasing Thompson because I thought we’d have someone lined up, but realistically he’d be our best winger now by miles.

It could be good and show what is truly wrong. One of the best behind the scenes docos I have seen is "Some Kind of Monster" about Metallica and it was filmed during a time when the band was imploding. The best part was when the shrink that James Hetfield brought in was giving lyric suggestions. Maybe we will find out our game plan is being written by the cleaner.
