Its not all bad

going into the penrith game this week i was actually hoping for a poor performance or even a loss soo that the following week against the dragons we had every reason to come out firing (i really hate the dragons). Some may think im crazy but lets be honest, over the years weve played at our best after being embarassed, humilated and completely written off after a horrible performance in the previous week. Well it seems that we have had a horrible performance except we also get the valuabe 2 competition points that may make a difference come the business end. so its not all bad.

tigers to come out firing against the dragqueens on friday night :sign:

I'd like to think that we will turn up against the Dragons next week, but somehow after tonight I see this as a catalyst for complacency and we will probably get quite a touch up next week as a result.

Thats the thing. After tonights performace compared with the dragons past form we will have no reason to be complacent. We will be firm udnerdogs and due to our poor performance this week, the boys will have alot of reason to improve and test themselves out against the competition benchmark. Being the underdogs brings out the best in the wests tigers, it seems thats the only way we can win which is a bit disappointing really

Its gotten to the stage where they have some of the fans thinking we HAVE to be complacent to put in a good performance.
I'd like to think we can play well regardless of the result, week in week out
You play well….you get more wins than losses generally.

As Sheens said at his press conference last night we play like that next week and St George will put 100 points on us.

Let's fine Marshall $10,000.00 for each flick pass he does. He will get the message once his money starts to run low.

A big thing in the Tigers Favour next week is that it is a Day Game - The Tigers and the Dogs (and a lesser extent) are the 2 teams who have considerably better records during Day games then night games with the tigers winning 52% of games v 37% - at least 8 teams are better at night (prob due to day games being generally against the better teams as they are TV games) and most others are break even.

Our style of game suits day time football and I think between that and between playing the dragons and Sheens firing up we will see a much better performance next week - Will we see a win - probably not quite given how good the dragons are going and more importantly that they will be at full strength and we are still missing 3 of our top 5 players
