It's time to go

Why do people keep saying we had no hookers when Halatau was on the bench? And before someone tells me he's not a hooker, ask yourself which position he's spent the most time at this yr.

Just because he plays there, doesn't mean he's a hooker any more.
As in Rankins not a winger, ET isn't a hooker either
Halateau shouldn't even be in the team, much as I hate saying that. These selections are right up there with Lovell as a centre

Yes first words he said..he also said the halves put up their hands in the shed after the game and said they didn't perform well today and he thought that was good sign…

"A good sign" ? - what a choice of words. The two halves had "signed" a new contract only a few days ago. Now they can put there hands up and tell the team they didn't perform well which is o.k. with them and o.k. with Taylor because he will definitely select them every week no matter how badly they play each week. It is a very sad state of affairs in that WT have gone from having "potentially" the best halves in the competition to the situation today where they have the worst halves in the competition. To make things depressingly worse Wests Tigers have just signed them for another season, and therefore virtually guaranteed their selection in first grade right through until the end of the 2017 season.

Does at least one of them put his hand up each week?
AS every week one of the two Muppetts has a shocker?
Just because the club got outsmarted AGAIN by these blokes, doesn't mean we have to play them in first grade
Stop trying to manufacture an exit for Farah , and start working on forcing one of them out, ,
JT is good at telling people they will be in reserve grade, how about he tells that to someone who really should be there.

Yep im over taylor as well. The team itself has to be blamed for playing poorly but having such an incapable coach just makes it worse. His team management stinks, anyone can see that. Week in week out there seems to be no attempt to fix obvious deficiencies in defence. I cant see him inspiring any player to greatness either.

Farah needs to go too, doesn't deliver on his price tag, just like virtually everyone at this bloody club.

Is this NRL or under 8's ?

You can all bag JT all you like ….what cost us the game today was INEXPERIENCE,IMMATURITY,OVERHYPED POTENTIAL and a obvious lack of NRL talent..
Sing the praises of JAC because of his POTENTIAL,today he was ordinary,Simona lacklustre, the halves have signed their contracts for next year so the money will keep coming when nobody really wants over rated halves that can't control a game and show leadership in going forward, but can give away stupid penalties and heaps of ground to a desperate team..851,you wantJT gone, fair enough, but in my opinion he can take Farah, the halves and the fringe FG imposters with him...
Doesn't matter how great a coach or trainer you are",you can never win a Melbourne cup with a three legged horse"...

Tedesco was his usual best..if he ever was to leave I for one wouldn't blame him,his teammates rely on him doing most of the work while they try to look like footballers...

TT is very angry today and has been for a while with this crew of wanna be's,everything has to suit them even what mother nature dishes out, they do nothing to improve themselves......but let's keep blaming good old scarecrow, its much easier than the real problem....the overrated players.....

That would be fine by me, I am not saying JT is the only problem, but he is the biggest problem, and if it takes Farah the halves and imposters to go as well so be it, just keep Teddy.
I think to fix the mess start with the biggest problem, and that is the coach who can't seem to motivate his players, fix our right side defence or even fail to recognise where he is stuffing up, just watch the press conference for a perfect example of a clueless coach.

Yep, the fish rots from the head first.

And where's the head Tigermac, is it JT or someone higher. People complain JT can't coach, well who signed him?

GNR,I'm not going to get on the " get rid of Taylor"train….I honestly think the problems at WTs are far deeper and greater than JT coming here and being an ordinary coach..my honest opinion will be hammered by some on here but I have never been backward in coming forward, our roster is far from NRL standard, most was inherited by Taylor although he did recruit some in the off season,we have squandered heaps of $$$$$ time and time again eg.Adam Blair, back ending contracts, overpaying two inexperienced overhyped halves, etc, these aren't all Taylors fault,Farah has been a thorn in the side of this club going forward, granted he has been great up until 2 years ago,Potter was on the right track by not extending him,and look where that got him..if we can get some very good money,we may be able to buy some NRL standard players in key positions that we desperately need..until then we have to put up with the team, coaching staff and admin, hopefully we can step up to the level needed to be competative week to week that us the fans can confidently support week after week....

it all starts with the preparation. you can't have a guy who's barely every played hooker to go out there and do a good job for his team. jake friend was the biggest difference today.

unlike other players and official's, a coach's success can be measured with a win%.. less than 30% in 1.5 years is a failure in anyone's book especially considering the good injury run we've had, where our 1,6 and 7 have played most of the games together.

we're not gonna make the 8 this year. best scenario is 13th/14th. so, good bye JT.

he's done some good thing like tightened up our ruck, got the best out of james tedesco and brought in a good sports science team but at the end of the day, the results he's produced are absolute crap.

The whole management is the head of the club but JT is the head of the team. I don't disagree that we have issues besides JT but honestly he and Farah both need to go for the good of the team…

Considering that our roster is below average, we need a coach who can inspire and motivate. As alluded to on another thread, player management is probably more important than tactical coaching and JT is just not that guy. Yes, management are responsible for his appointment.

Having said that, his tactics and team selection have sucked. He is controversial, still meek and his interviews are embarrassing. Tim Sheens might have not been the best coach (in the end) but at least he had class and gave our team some sort of stature. Sheens was more controlling (as a head coach should be) and was responsible when this ship went down. JT has not taken control as a head coach ought to and while he may have excuses, he cannot shirk responsibility. If he got the flick I think you would be a brave man to suggest he was a scapegoat.

Petition to get rid of Jason Taylor

Wow, Poor old Jason Taylor is very popular on change.org

Just did a search and there are 3 get rid of Taylor petitions.
Maybe it's time for Jason to just toss in the towel or at least merge petitions !

Yeah Farah was going to save us today….. Come off it... Unless Farah was 120 odd kegs of aggression we had no chance in these conditions.. They were just too big. Plain and simple... But what evs... Get your Taylor hate out by all means... It's the usual reaction after a loss for you blokes....

It's not that they were too big Blaze. It was the Roosters forwards playing with agression and their hooker and halves kicking game that beat us.

I'm confused. Does Jason Taylor only coach and select the team when we lose.

If we win, It's Mark O'Neill and some selection team.

I'm totally lost.

Yes I'm also confused. Did Taylor tell Moses not to find touch when we got that penalty and also did he instruct Luke Brooks to throw stupid no look passes on the 2nd tackle right after we scored the try and we were all over them? I'm also confused as to whether he would tell Dene halatau to rip the ball out in a tackle right in front of the posts and the referee. If he did tell them to do those things he should go.

No, but he can come down hard on Brooks and tell him he'll bench him next time he does it. And nothing's stopping him from dropping Halatau is it now.
At the press conference he agreed that the halves didnt stand up, the halves know it and that they've put their hand up in the sheds. He said he was happy with that and they'll work on it…Again. :unamused:

We have a front rower who is in origin mode. Forget Woods for the rest of the year. Origin has started and he's in Lauries team. So forget any effort for us.

Woods has been average this year… Soft runs, turns his back at the line and that's it... Woodsie you must deliver more

Slow play the ball too.

Ah! the haters. Don't you love them. Not sighted over the past fortnight or so, but one loss in three weeks and it's " off with his head."

Ms Go and the board have stated that Taylor will be the coach " for as long as we believe that it is the right decision for success for the club. There is no time limit on our coach. We're not assessing him month to month or week to week. We're building a support base around him, offering him all the support we can to ensure he is a success."

There endith the lesson.

If you listen to the press conference .. The first thing JT said was "I am really happy with the fight we put up today"
I would have asked one question in reply.. Which game are you taking about?

He's delusional, i tell yeah
