Is this NRL or under 8's ?

You can all bag JT all you like ….what cost us the game today was INEXPERIENCE,IMMATURITY,OVERHYPED POTENTIAL and a obvious lack of NRL talent..
Sing the praises of JAC because of his POTENTIAL,today he was ordinary,Simona lacklustre, the halves have signed their contracts for next year so the money will keep coming when nobody really wants over rated halves that can't control a game and show leadership in going forward, but can give away stupid penalties and heaps of ground to a desperate team..851,you wantJT gone, fair enough, but in my opinion he can take Farah, the halves and the fringe FG imposters with him...
Doesn't matter how great a coach or trainer you are",you can never win a Melbourne cup with a three legged horse"...

Tedesco was his usual best..if he ever was to leave I for one wouldn't blame him,his teammates rely on him doing most of the work while they try to look like footballers...

TT is very angry today and has been for a while with this crew of wanna be's,everything has to suit them even what mother nature dishes out, they do nothing to improve themselves......but let's keep blaming good old scarecrow, its much easier than the real problem....the overrated players.....

This is how I see it as well, you can have the best game plan but if the players are not capable then it is a waste of time….there are many players that should NOT be in this team blame the coach all you like....replay yesterday's game and watch these knuckle heads!

No thanks , once was enough .

Hahaha, i agree. I was lucky enough to miss 12 min of it.

I don't pump up his tyres, if he was sacked tomorrow I wouldn't lose sleep. I just think it's pathetic and weak and lazy to blame him for everything when there are much bigger issues than who is coaching an average roster. By the sounds of it he'll be here in 2017 so suck it up.

The roster is not as bad as you would like to think, we have other more established coaches trying to buy our players, and if the coach can not motivate the team to play for him, then he is clearly out of his depth and deserves all the criticism he gets.
And no I won't suck it up, and I will be very surprised and disappointed if the club lets him stay on next year, if they do then they will get exactly what they asked for, and it won't be pretty.

If people are ok to accept a 30% win rate then that is pretty sad. If I was a CEO I would not be happy but she has endorsed him for next year. I think his ego got in the way today wrt Farah but anyway what is done is done.

To think last week people on here were thinking a possibility if making the top 8 this year

Just by the way - SHE is not the CEO - SHE is the Chairperson on the board.

Not going to argue about semantics, but SHE is in charge.

Ah! the haters. Don't you love them. Not sighted over the past fortnight or so, but one loss in three weeks and it's " off with his head."

Ms Go and the board have stated that Taylor will be the coach " for as long as we believe that it is the right decision for success for the club. There is no time limit on our coach. We're not assessing him month to month or week to week. We're building a support base around him, offering him all the support we can to ensure he is a success."

There endith the lesson.

Col, I will wait with bated breath, for the success to come.

I've been here even the last 2 weeks col, not even a few wins will change my mind calling for JT to be publicly stoned or beheaded

The problem is any new coach will want a multi-year contract, and I am not sure who is floating around that desrves one. Cleary is the obvious pick, but I am not sold on him. I have heard Toovey's name mentioned, but he inherited a very good manly side and took it bacwards quickly. As for players lifting for him, if some of the allegations are true, they were willing to sacrifice a place in the finals to line their pockets.

Yeah Farah was going to save us today….. Come off it... Unless Farah was 120 odd kegs of aggression we had no chance in these conditions.. They were just too big. Plain and simple... But what evs... Get your Taylor hate out by all means... It's the usual reaction after a loss for you blokes....

So you are happy with equal last in 2015, and now 14th at the halfway mark in 2016 after being dished up by teams 15 and 16\. :crazy

If you really think the roosters are really a 15th position team, you have rocks in your head. We were belted by a much bigger and aggro team. Our team is developing and the reason we don't have big developed players is our cap, which is what we are in the process of fixing. This is why Taylor has the team he has, and why we are below average, same as Newcastle. It won't be fixed until Farah is gone… So get used to it. No coach can work with young park footballers in the nrl... None.

It's not a problem. Don't give them one.

And we have a winner for dumbest idea of the year. Offering 1 year option for a new coach and in return get the worst coaches available applying. If your lucky eap with the money we r paying u might get raudonikis back or mayby terry lamb or perhaps blocker as head coach

A new coach every year. That will be exciting.

No one said that. It's just that we made a mistake with Taylor and a one year contract would avoid that in the future. Alternatively try and pick a better coach.
