It's time to go

Yes first words he said..he also said the halves put up their hands in the shed after the game and said they didn't perform well today and he thought that was good sign…

Is this NRL or under 8's ?

Impossible to defend on today's Game…Season is still not over ..plenty of inconsistent teams all around us...

We need to string wins together..

You can all bag JT all you like ….what cost us the game today was INEXPERIENCE,IMMATURITY,OVERHYPED POTENTIAL and a obvious lack of NRL talent..
Sing the praises of JAC because of his POTENTIAL,today he was ordinary,Simona lacklustre, the halves have signed their contracts for next year so the money will keep coming when nobody really wants over rated halves that can't control a game and show leadership in going forward, but can give away stupid penalties and heaps of ground to a desperate team..851,you wantJT gone, fair enough, but in my opinion he can take Farah, the halves and the fringe FG imposters with him...
Doesn't matter how great a coach or trainer you are",you can never win a Melbourne cup with a three legged horse"...

Tedesco was his usual best..if he ever was to leave I for one wouldn't blame him,his teammates rely on him doing most of the work while they try to look like footballers...

TT is very angry today and has been for a while with this crew of wanna be's,everything has to suit them even what mother nature dishes out, they do nothing to improve themselves......but let's keep blaming good old scarecrow, its much easier than the real problem....the overrated players.....

Half the comp is inconsistent. Souths coming off a GP loss and a 5 hr flight could be ripe for the picking Friday. Especially if our influential no 9 is back.

Naiqama is not a first grade player, has absolutely no idea in defence and has cost us 2 games now (bulldogs game aswell). If Sironen got dropped for the right reasons than Naiqama has got to go, teams will just attack that side all game and get tries with ease.

If you listen to the press conference .. The first thing JT said was "I am really happy with the fight we put up today"
I would have asked one question in reply.. Which game are you taking about?

Heard that and was dumbfounded. Our fight and enthusiasm was non-existent. Kick chases, last ditch defence, desperation on loose balls and so forth was all just terrible.

This is how I see it as well, you can have the best game plan but if the players are not capable then it is a waste of time….there are many players that should NOT be in this team blame the coach all you like....replay yesterday's game and watch these knuckle heads!

No thanks , once was enough .

Yesterday was nothing new, it has been happening for a long time now. Any team that has some size, power and aggression who rips into our forwards and once on top just target all our poor defenders, and there are a few to choose from, will get the bacon. Now I am not sure if any other coach would be doing much better, but than I look at Henry at the Titians,he has a team that was tipped to get the spoon and they are playing really well, so yes it is probably time to send Taylor packing

Thta assumes we will get a better coach while in fact Taylor was better then both our previous coach and also the other stragglers who applied for the job. He has done a really good job in 3 areas. 1\. Injuries 2\. Building deprh and 3\. Recruitment. He tried to make things better by getting rid of Robbie and got stuck with him which hasnt worked out. So i personally think Taylor should prob stay till end of teh yr and see where we are. As for other options the only 1 whoight be better is cleary and his results with oanthers wernt great

Haha 851 has been waiting two weeks to make this thread.

No I haven't genius, you and Russ keep pumping up his tyres it will all be right, I have wanted this clown gone since last season, not the last 2 weeks, so carry on why don't you..

Ok I will correct GNR for you.

GNR, you are wrong "Haha 851 has been waiting one and a half seasons to make this thread."

In the cold hard light of day….we lost this game in the forwards. In the first half they were completely dominated allowing friend to take control. We were gassed after 30mins, not sure what the halves could do.

They went wide because we weren't matching then through the centre. Sure they did some dumb stuff but they were assisted in looking very ordinary by our forwards. Back to the drawing board. We need another big prop and 13\. Our pack simply cannot match it with the best packs consistently. I would be looking at this first.

Also Mck needs to come in as a defensive centre on the right side. It should help sure up our right side defence which is leaking like a sieve.

I don't pump up his tyres, if he was sacked tomorrow I wouldn't lose sleep. I just think it's pathetic and weak and lazy to blame him for everything when there are much bigger issues than who is coaching an average roster. By the sounds of it he'll be here in 2017 so suck it up.

The roster is not as bad as you would like to think, we have other more established coaches trying to buy our players, and if the coach can not motivate the team to play for him, then he is clearly out of his depth and deserves all the criticism he gets.
And no I won't suck it up, and I will be very surprised and disappointed if the club lets him stay on next year, if they do then they will get exactly what they asked for, and it won't be pretty.

If people are ok to accept a 30% win rate then that is pretty sad. If I was a CEO I would not be happy but she has endorsed him for next year. I think his ego got in the way today wrt Farah but anyway what is done is done.

To think last week people on here were thinking a possibility if making the top 8 this year

Just by the way - SHE is not the CEO - SHE is the Chairperson on the board.

Wet weather games are generally won in the forwards and that is what happened yesterday.
They kept us camped in our own quarter we couldn't get out and Friends kicking game ensured the repeat sets. 70% possession in the first half to the Roosters and we did well to go in six points behind at half time.
Their pack just steamrolled us.
I really have no idea what is going on with Taylor and unless you are in the inner circle don't know how anyone could.
Just don't think everyone is suited to coaching and I think Taylor is one of those. If you can't reach the players dosnt't matter what your game plan is just don't think you are going to get the best from them. If there was obvious growth in more than one player since he came then maybe I would buy into what he us trying to do.
However unlike some I think our recruitment for this year was never going to make any impact - we still lack that go forward when we need it and to think our halves can control a game without it, not going to happen. Just my ten cents

"A good sign" ? - what a choice of words. The two halves had "signed" a new contract only a few days ago. Now they can put there hands up and tell the team they didn't perform well which is o.k. with them and o.k. with Taylor because he will definitely select them every week no matter how badly they play each week. It is a very sad state of affairs in that WT have gone from having "potentially" the best halves in the competition to the situation today where they have the worst halves in the competition. To make things depressingly worse Wests Tigers have just signed them for another season, and therefore virtually guaranteed their selection in first grade right through until the end of the 2017 season.
