Is it true that IC was signing with the Panthers until J.Pascoe intervened with legal action, and then the Panthers come out and said that he wouldn’t be combining 2019??
-James
PK: Close to the mark.
As a Tigers fan I am happy with the way the club has dealt with the dramas of last week as well as Cleary. What evidence does the media have to say Ivan was lying when he said he intends to honor his contract.
-Daniel
PK: The fact Penrith say the deal is done.

Yet he said on 360 last night "If cleary isnt at Penrith next year, Bennett will be"
Deal done eh?
Why is everyone just about the hate for the guy and not using any common sense. It is fairly obvious to me that he is saying that if Pascoe and the Wests Tigers refuse to budge then Penrith will have to go to plan B.
His position seems to be Ivan has agreed to join Penrith but he didnt expect the Wests Tigers to stand so firm. It put Penrith in their place and they might need to consider other options, ie Bennett/ Barrett.

They are very opinionated and strong willed. Its not much different to most of the regular forum members, except they get paid for it.

@ said:Well it's great there is more focus in the news on Bennett Barrett and Mary now
Players possibly following Bennett
Players possibly being let go by Manly because of salary cap issues
Coaching Merry go round that could take place
Seibolds future
Nathan's Future
Barba's Return
Thustons and Slaters retirement
Cronks possible retirement
Finals football
What's there not to love about footy
Bring on 2019

Given you've been banned from here previously (and made a feeble attempt to threaten me in the process) I suggest you drop it and stick to the topic.
@ said:You can forget Nathan ever coming to the Wests Tigers. Why do you think Penrith have tried hard to sign Ivan, obviously Ivan knows that his son wants to stay at Penrith. So the best way to chance to coach him Would be at Penrith. You will find Ivan will bide his time for two years and then Off he goes. The reason he mentioned in that press conference, that he still wants the coach his son, is so he can justify it when he leaves us. Make no mistake about it.

If Nathan wants to stay at Penrith why do they need to sweeten the deal with Ivan..?

…..from what I understand, Nathan & Mum have plenty of pull in the Cleary household. Ivan just wants to make his family happy. That’s all ! He will definitely be going to Penrith & don’t be surprised when Gus pulls the pin on being the GM when Ivan arrives as part of the deal.
In 2 years time.,, it will be back to the old drawing board with a new coach for Wests Tigers And their long suffering supporters.

HAha… !
Join the dots
1) Ivan meets Penrith
2)Ivan comes out after 5 days!! later with a nervous press conference and does not justify the mis-information that’s out there.
3) Nathan loves Riff and and the place feels like home!
4) Tyrone Peachey said “I had to leave so they can keep Nathan & RCG”
