**From Kents live blog**

Is it true that IC was signing with the Panthers until J.Pascoe intervened with legal action, and then the Panthers come out and said that he wouldn’t be combining 2019??

-James

PK: Close to the mark.

As a Tigers fan I am happy with the way the club has dealt with the dramas of last week as well as Cleary. What evidence does the media have to say Ivan was lying when he said he intends to honor his contract.

-Daniel

PK: The fact Penrith say the deal is done.

Yet he said on 360 last night "If cleary isnt at Penrith next year, Bennett will be"
Deal done eh?

Why is everyone just about the hate for the guy and not using any common sense. It is fairly obvious to me that he is saying that if Pascoe and the Wests Tigers refuse to budge then Penrith will have to go to plan B.

His position seems to be Ivan has agreed to join Penrith but he didnt expect the Wests Tigers to stand so firm. It put Penrith in their place and they might need to consider other options, ie Bennett/ Barrett.

Kent's position wouldn't be mis information is regarding Cleary agreeing to join Penrith..would it..hmmm I wonder..

It's fairly obvious to me some people here don't know what real news was and how real journos operated… no click bait headlines, no opinions, guesses accusations or veiled threats... Just facts and what happened.
Yes, there were editorials and opinion pieces but everyone knew them for what they were

Sometimes i think its more jealousy than anything that we dont like some of these guys. You look at the link earlier to Paul Kents live blog. I thought he handled himself well in it and answered the question on many different topics pretty well.

They are very opinionated and strong willed. Its not much different to most of the regular forum members, except they get paid for it.

It’s a long road to wisdom.
And short road to being ignored patriot.
One moment handled pretty well doesn’t wipe away many moments that weren’t.

Well it's great there is more focus in the news on Bennett Barrett and Mary now
Players possibly following Bennett
Players possibly being let go by Manly because of salary cap issues
Coaching Merry go round that could take place
Seibolds future
Nathan's Future
Barba's Return
Thustons and Slaters retirement
Cronks possible retirement
Finals football
What's there not to love about footy

Bring on 2019

There are two scenarios here:

1) Penrith have lied and are deliberately destabilising the Tigers to create a smokescreen to sack Griffin with some logic and create some hope with Nathan Penrith will sign his dad now or down the track.

2) Cleary has agreed to join the Panthers and it’s hit the media in a way he didn’t expect.

The truth will be revealed when Cleary Jr signs. If Penrith lied and threw his old man under a bus do you think he would sign after they already sacked him. I think not.

If he does the whole story will prove true.
Just have to wait and see what happens.

Humorous though

Maybe if the average reader is 12 years of age.

is that so….an articulate lot we are for average of 12 years old

Given you've been banned from here previously (and made a feeble attempt to threaten me in the process) I suggest you drop it and stick to the topic.

Deal Willow….but may I suggest u go back through the posts and see who started this.....

You can forget Nathan ever coming to the Wests Tigers. Why do you think Penrith have tried hard to sign Ivan, obviously Ivan knows that his son wants to stay at Penrith. So the best way to chance to coach him Would be at Penrith. You will find Ivan will bide his time for two years and then Off he goes. The reason he mentioned in that press conference, that he still wants the coach his son, is so he can justify it when he leaves us. Make no mistake about it.

If Nathan wants to stay at Penrith why do they need to sweeten the deal with Ivan..?

…..from what I understand, Nathan & Mum have plenty of pull in the Cleary household. Ivan just wants to make his family happy. That’s all ! He will definitely be going to Penrith & don’t be surprised when Gus pulls the pin on being the GM when Ivan arrives as part of the deal.
In 2 years time.,, it will be back to the old drawing board with a new coach for Wests Tigers And their long suffering supporters.

Seem to be just as obsessed with the topic of mis-information as the daily telegraph, Paul.
Posts everywhere repeating the same thing again and again.

:roll best emoji to describe it.
