With Brooks, Marshall and Farah I don't think will be fifty. 30 difference at the most. Or would be if no Cleary distraction.

So bad for our prep this week.
Raiders to put 50 on us today.
We’ll be fine. I reckon we’ll win. I can see all the post match interviews with the players saying they wanted to win for him.

@ said:Griffin and Gould should just let it rest. Gus had his podcast and addressed why he was sacked and then Griffin did the interview on Fox to put his side across. Should have been the end. The Footy Show stitch up was not necessary and it’s now a laughable situation.
I can’t get over how Gus has thrown Griffin, Cleary under the bus by changing his story and name dropping Cleary as the person Griffin was sacked for.
If Cleary has the Integrity I think he has he will pull the ultimate power play on Gould. He sacked Cleary now has made him look like a someone who would undermine another coach.
@ said:Pfffft.
After sacking him…. Gus says he's prepared to forgive Griffin for telling his side of the story.
What an arse wipe

Congratulations to all the Ivan Cleary haters, who are obviously trained psychologists and can read the truth behind a person's words!
If I was Nathan Cleary and I read your unfounded comments on my father, I would re-sign with Penrith, IMMEDIATELY.
By the way, if you read all of the baseless vitriol in this thread from those finding fault with Ivan not speaking earlier in the week, no wonder he put off speaking out for as long as he could! Following all of the vitriol, I would think that Ivan might find somewhere else to work, when he has completed his contract with Wests Tigers.
Put your white jacket on and join up it at the sleeves,, you’re sounding a bit troubled.
Nobody hates Ivan but we’re not walking around with rose coloured glasses on, unlike yourself.
The forum is a vehicle for everyone to voice their own opinions, not yours.
He was voicing HIS opinion - isn't he allowed to do that on a Forum.
OR is it only people that agree with your scenarios that are allowed to voice their opinions????
You need to get real, Ace!
@ said:Its always possible Cleary was intending to go, but the way Penrith have handled things and the fact they threw him under the bus has totally soured him.

GNR, Josh Stuart confirmed that Ivan Cleary would never go back to the Panthers with Gould at the club. I read that Gould has recently signed a 5 year contract. The scenario you have put forward is not supported by what a close family member had to say on the matter.
@ said:And mods, if I have to have..
“this is not Wayne Cousins”
The member Ivan Cleary should have the same
Peace

The real question you need to ask, beyond your dumb and unproven comments about "conniving", is what happens if we WIN today?
We've lost 6 of the last 7 against Canberra and they've scored at least 46 points in our last 4 matches. The most we've posted in these 4 games is 12 points, which was the last game and it was 12-10 to us at HT.
We were sufficiently prepared for those games and we all know that the 2016 Rd 26 match was playing for a place in the finals.
So what if we actually win today, what does that say about the "alternative" preparation of this week?
Raiders putting 50 on us is just par since 2016.
