Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

Another Griffin interview in sunday tele, where he answers questions about what Gus said about him.
Also shows Buzz texts from almost all the players, makes Gus look really bad, also says Gus told him Cleary was there preference to replace him, Gys has denied that in his interview.
This hopefully keeps bubbling along, Gus is looking more and more of a liar every day

I don't care it it's only 2 points difference as long as we win, though I could do without the heart attack!
 
Griffin and Gould should just let it rest. Gus had his podcast and addressed why he was sacked and then Griffin did the interview on Fox to put his side across. Should have been the end. The Footy Show stitch up was not necessary and it’s now a laughable situation.

I can’t get over how Gus has thrown Griffin, Cleary under the bus by changing his story and name dropping Cleary as the person Griffin was sacked for.

If Cleary has the Integrity I think he has he will pull the ultimate power play on Gould. He sacked Cleary now has made him look like a someone who would undermine another coach.

After sacking him…. Gus says he's prepared to forgive Griffin for telling his side of the story.

Its always possible Cleary was intending to go, but the way Penrith have handled things and the fact they threw him under the bus has totally soured him.

Yeah i reckon we will win today….i feel the boys will be very fired up....but back to ivan cleary i feel that there's more to come from this yet by no means is this dead n buried

The real question you need to ask, beyond your dumb and unproven comments about "conniving", is what happens if we WIN today?

We've lost 6 of the last 7 against Canberra and they've scored at least 46 points in our last 4 matches. The most we've posted in these 4 games is 12 points, which was the last game and it was 12-10 to us at HT.

We were sufficiently prepared for those games and we all know that the 2016 Rd 26 match was playing for a place in the finals.

So what if we actually win today, what does that say about the "alternative" preparation of this week?

Raiders putting 50 on us is just par since 2016.

I'm not upset Gould and Griffin are still going at it as long as they leave us out of it. The more that they go it, the more the Panthers look like a rabble of a club. I like our stance, no nonsense, leave us alone and let us play like a club on the rise.

What Maggy said does have some merit.
Some here have come out with some utter garbage without having any idea of who said/ did what and were close to or even bordering on being slanderous as well
Not the way to endearing ourselves to someone we could be trying to sign in future
As far as I know, Nathan Cleary hasn’tdone anything to WTS, it might be time to lay off some of the abuse of him and his father.unles there’s actually a legitimate reason.

GNR, Josh Stuart confirmed that Ivan Cleary would never go back to the Panthers with Gould at the club. I read that Gould has recently signed a 5 year contract. The scenario you have put forward is not supported by what a close family member had to say on the matter.
