I've lost interest.

genuine question

Does anyone think its possible after the way we were travelling in the middle part of last yr and the first month and a bit of this yr that you can become desensitized to the results win or lose?

Today was the first game that really sparked my interest this season.

It is also the first time this season that the entire crowd has been into a game we have been involved in.

Mate, we haven't lost 4 straight since 2010, and we made the top four that year…

It's not the time to lose interest. It never is.

I may have been losing a little interest after Monday night, but being at the game today and watching closely, im extremely impressed in how much a team can turn things around in 6 days. They were pretty bloody good for 75mins, the refs were not on our side either but i dont blame them for the loss, but after that performance without Ellis for most of the game, without Farah and Keithy either (who should both be in the team this coming week) - im excited for the next chapter of the season.

I would hate to see our results with any other coach! We have one of the best in the business. I have only one bone to pick with Sheens and thats the two backs on the bench saga, especially when we have Moors available.

All in all, i drove home very dissapointed today, but also satisfied with the massive progress.

Just one other thing - if you have lost interest and youre "over it" then please stay away from the forum….....

when we lose 4 in a row i lose interest not in my team but the entire game, when we win I find the game interesting and watch all the games, normally I cant wait for NFL in August when our team has been crap like in 06 to 09.

but now this is the worst start to the season ever by the wests tigers and I am starting to feel that way now and leaning to other sports… I think we lost our first 4 in 07 (choked them all if I remmeber) then won 6 in a row.

but even in 2000 2001 2002 we had some wins early on if I remmeber

If anything todays game showed our season isn't over.

Bingo,we have a winner.

Keefy and farah back next week.

I'm pumped.

Yep We will beat Brisbane next week All we have to do is stop there forward pack Not easy granted but possible

I tend to lose interest in league overall after a loss, but as soon as the next round starts, I'm back in again watching as many games as possible.

I can see this thread going a long way towards solving the team's problems.

I don't think he is attempting to solve our problems I think he is expressing his feelings. Unfortunately they mirror my own

I became desensitized between 2000-2009 after squandering so many games like yesterdays.

I remember our boys needing to win the last game of the season against Newcastle who were last and they couldn't even do that - (think it was 2007)

I remember our boys storming towards the top 8 in 2009 only to be denied by a draw in the last couple of rounds between Newcastle and Souths, and Manly getting a last minute win with a contentious try against the sharks.

I remember our boys being SECOND AFTER ROUND 17 in our inaugural year (2000) as a combined entity only to spectacularly roll down the table and finish 10th by round 26.

We have seen worse failures than this lads, and worse fortunes go against us (2009 was just horribly unlucky) so this is nothing new.

We'll bounce back, and bounce back well, and itr will be against the most unlikely of opponents on friday night.

These are frustrating times yes, but you never lose interest. I bet if you don't watch a game, your on the forum reading the live game threads…

They are just getting their poor form & injuries out of the way early.

End of the year they will be fit and firing. Other teams will be copping more injuries etc.

It's not the time to lose interest. It never is.

Can't be a real fan if that's all it takes. If I'd made that statement in Balmain in the 50's and 60's I'd be still scrubbing the tar and feathers off.

Never in my life have I lost interest in my team, especially after 5 rounds, but now I'm over them. If we start winning I might come around again, but honestly that's how I feel. I am sick in stomach. Please change our coach, with anyone. He might not be to blame, but another voice has to direct the player. Our players get away with murder and the supporters suffer. These guys need someone like Daniel Anderson, he calls it the way it is.

These are the times when the club needs it's supporters to get behind them. Not give up and sook about the losses.

I would not say losing interest - pretty frustrating is how I see it. The better team lost its as simple as that. The defence up the middle was strong, they were playing as a team and for one another, I can't recall seeing so much passion in the players as I have yesterday - that must mean something to the supporters - so lets return that passion and get behind them !

Living overseas atm has actually increased my passion for the team as I will do anything to see them on TV - I am sure all my neighbours heard my clapping, screaming, sweariing and yelling at the TV just like I would at the game.

Get behind them guys !!
