I've lost interest.

I'm an old Western Surburbs supporter, and remember them getting flogged week in week out. I would get really excited if we scored a few tries, and my main motivation was to see the Magpies avoid the wooden spoon, and not have opposing teams reach 50 against us.

I have been conditioned to losing more than winning thanks to the Magpies of the mid to late 80's and late 90's.

Its okay to vent your frustration at the start they have had so far. It's not as if they are not having a go, its as if their confidence is shot, and that was evident against St George. Once their senior players get this confidence back, they will come good again.

Give them time. They might just surprise us against the Bronco's!

I can't lose interest, as there is nothing else to do in Winter. My leave passes are closely aligned to attending footy matches, so it is in my best interests to continue on this rollercoaster ride

If you have lost interst in following your football team….. your a goose! we will come good we are just out of form.....for the statisiticans out there we have led every game at h/t this year if you cant play 80 minutes which we almost did yesterday its fitness and discipline, we are getting better and will come good. stick with you team and dont be a bandwagon supporter!

theres always a positive when your on the bottom of the table....theres only one way to go on the ladder...its up!

trade your WT jersey for a Melbourne Storm if you want to support a team that wins games every week.

To me following another team is like cheating on your wife. No matter he stupid our team plays and a coach who is back in the early 80's I have to support them through the good times and bad times. Loyality.

Maybe follow The Hawks (like having Friends with benefits) whislt still being loyal to WT and your wife

You are every fools best mate. Our current position has been 1-2 years in the making, for the worst. We are fast becoming a laughing stock and I can't accept it. God knows how you and other fools can. What parra fans done last week, is the way I feel, angry. How can you sit back and accept it. True fans scream for changes, and they will come. Sheep like you belong in the paddock. You accept having a quality side that under achieves. You are a joke. Start following WWE it's just as fake as you. This has nothing to do with yesterday's loss or the 4 losses in a row. It's how we're run. Bigdamos right 100%. He bleeds more than you. Would Manchester United accept this. If you think yes, we'll you are a true supporter.

"True fans scream for changes"

True fans don't jump off the ledge when the going gets tough. 5 games in and people are ready to neck themselves.

But its not like we aren't angry or upset.

I can see this thread going a long way towards solving the team's problems.

I don't think he is attempting to solve our problems I think he is expressing his feelings. Unfortunately they mirror my own

I am having vivid flashbacks to Mr T ("I pity the fool")
And if Bigdamo bleeds more than me, maybe he should seek help, as that would probably make him a haemophiliac

I was swearing blue murder after the game yesterday. I didn't want to talk. I didn't want to eat or drink. I woke up in the middle of the night, still angry…

But it will have to get a hell of a lot worse for me to ever give up or lose interest in our team!

Never in my life have I lost interest in my team, especially after 5 rounds, but now I'm over them. If we start winning I might come around again, but honestly that's how I feel. I am sick in stomach. Please change our coach, with anyone. He might not be to blame, but another voice has to direct the player. Our players get away with murder and the supporters suffer. These guys need someone like Daniel Anderson, he calls it the way it is.

Seeya tigermaniac we dont need fans like you .
High and mighty when we are winning ,FICKLE when we have a bad trot .

We have the class to get us through,at least we went for 75 minutes ysterday

Yes it was hard to cop but we will all back up this week & i know what you guys mean i woke up @ 1.00 this morning & watched the game again. I guess i am just mad or maybe a typical Wests Tigers supporter.

The hype about this year was SOOOOOOOO good that I have been bitterly disapointed with the way the team is travelling, but….....
this happens every year!!!
When we lost to Souths 50-10 was when I was ready to pull up stumps (oops!mixed sports metaphor), but I love my footy and I love my team, so I bang the wall and get over it.
Hang in there Tigermaniac, you'll feel better by about Wednesday.

You're either in or out, take the good with the bad, seems like we have too many 'woodwork' fans here. Keep the faith…

I can't even be bothered getting upset now and letting it ruin my life. Let's face it it doesn't ruin their lived. They cop their 400k win lose or draw and are more concerned about which women they'll be meeting at sapphire or cargo after the games praying they get Friday night games so they can get on it all weekend. In season's gone by last year would have cut but it was almost so laughably predictable i didn't give a toss. And before any of you accuse me of being fairweather I have been over Australia and the world watching this side. But my hero worship of the players has gone.

Farah last week should have given it to sheens. Everyone knows they don't get in, if Farah had a real lash we might be rid of that complete charlatan of a coach. But they are all in their comfort zone from the coach down to the same players who make the same mistakes week after week year after year and learn nothing from it. They don't give a flying why should I.

My only regret is forking out for a membership again.

Hmmm…where are moderators when you need them? Some pretty contentious points made in that last post. Working off any knowledge Pistol_Pete or just having a spray? I never thought footy was about delivering a quality of life for the fans anyway. Maybe you expect too much out of it?
