I've lost interest.

The hype about this year was SOOOOOOOO good that I have been bitterly disapointed with the way the team is travelling, but….....
this happens every year!!!
When we lost to Souths 50-10 was when I was ready to pull up stumps (oops!mixed sports metaphor), but I love my footy and I love my team, so I bang the wall and get over it.
Hang in there Tigermaniac, you'll feel better by about Wednesday.

I know, I know. People are missing the actual point. Oops. I'm biting my tongue. Let the dust settle. WT.

If you have lost interst in following your football team….. your a goose! we will come good we are just out of form.....for the statisiticans out there we have led every game at h/t this year if you cant play 80 minutes which we almost did yesterday its fitness and discipline, we are getting better and will come good. stick with you team and dont be a bandwagon supporter!

theres always a positive when your on the bottom of the table....theres only one way to go on the ladder...its up!

You are every fools best mate. Our current position has been 1-2 years in the making, for the worst. We are fast becoming a laughing stock and I can't accept it. God knows how you and other fools can. What parra fans done last week, is the way I feel, angry. How can you sit back and accept it. True fans scream for changes, and they will come. Sheep like you belong in the paddock. You accept having a quality side that under achieves. You are a joke. Start following WWE it's just as fake as you. This has nothing to do with yesterday's loss or the 4 losses in a row. It's how we're run. Bigdamos right 100%. He bleeds more than you. Would Manchester United accept this. If you think yes, we'll you are a true supporter.

Yeah your probably right the season is getting to hard for us supporters now we have lost four in a row and the players have rolled over and are just hanging around for next year… i should be a sheep and follow you instead of the tigers and WWE becuase your the ideal supporter and a true icon for us supporters also!

I do agree with you things arnt looking good and maybe a change is ideal but I wouldnt be talking about that now, HYPERHETICALLY if we turned it around, made the top 8 and won the comp would you still ask for change? would you still be frustrated and calling me a fake supporter adn belong in a paddock or would you be happy as larry and be happy to get on you knees for sheens and all the boys?? If it was like this still in another month, mate ill jump on your sheep bandwagon and demand change but how can you not watch or follow somehting you love and support because its getting too hard? hang in there champ!!!

pretty ironic how your user name is tigermanic on this WESTS TIGERS SUPPORTER SITE and your over it.... I rekon your just as passionate if not more then me but are very frustrated!!!!

After last Sunday I was gutted. I think we showed signs that we are starting to turn a corner and for us to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory was horrible, BUT, there were still positive things happening on the field. I sat there watching, one minute jumping up with the young bloke, slapping complete strangers on the back, to then minutes later have my head in my hands, looking up to the heavens. The roller coaster ride that is the heart attack Tigers. Living and dying by the sword. I love the footy and I love my Tigers. I wear my heart on my sleeve when it comes to my team, pumping black, white and gold and when it spills it just makes it pump even harder. Give up on my team, no way. They go around again this Good Friday, love it. I'll be there scarf around my neck with the young bloke next to me. Make that Great Friday.

Let me explain my case a little better. Sheens used by date has passed at the WT. He can no longer get that extra mile out of the players, they are to used to him. He has had a decent roster for years and has done little. 3 finals in 9 years, this being his 10th. He plays favorites with team selections, when a player should be dropped. Not good enough. Players like Moors and Brown can go get stuffed. He doesn't assemble an appropriate bench or use it properly, eg Meaney not coming on or two backs on the bench when it's clear we're struggling up front. Total arrogance. This is what angers me. I might calm down while we're winning but the belief stays the same. He has to go. There will be no more premierships under him. I know other fans love him, that's their choice. He's lost me. This is why I claim the loss of interest. I no longer agree with his mentality. My love for the team will never die. Mate I grew up on the bike track at Lidcombe Oval. To be honest I became accustomed to losing, and I still admired our fighting spirit even after a 40 plus flogging. But people to think you lose interest in your club after a loss or even 4 in a row, have got it wrong. Or got me wrong. I hope I've cleared it up with some, and I extend a big apology to you ADAMTIGER.
My view won't change on Sheens.nor the love for the WT.

supporting wests-tigers is like being on a roller coaster ride.
has its ups and downs. the team will bounce back and make the finals.

as long as my heart keeps pumping, there will be only one NRL team for me.

wests-tigers

I don't know how they would have got on if they followed the Maggie's 1983-5 …. That sorted the men from the boys !
Hence why we struggled to get more than 3,000 to a game !

I don't mind if the boys go out and try really hard and we still lose. The Tigers are that sort of team, never a dull moment. Ups and downs, zigging and zagging all the way to the finals.Hang in there it will improve for sure.

Tigers 75-80 went pretty bad too.

And the 90's was a complete write off.

Thats why now its such a joy to watch them.

When i was getting into the tigers we were awful….makes it easier now.

90's wasn't so bad.

Met alot of good people through the 90's. Even when we were at the dreaded Parra Stadium

Yeah the real bad games you really just have to laugh it off I was laughing so hard during the 50-10 loss what else can you do Honestly
Screaming at the players does no good

Just remember the players never forget the bad ones either

The other thing to remember there is always next year and at least we still have a team to support

Imagine being a Norths or Newtown supporter

I know about that Brisbane Wests died and I was like losing a family member .

Iam not usually optimistic but I said to my mates we will give it a shake this year. So to be one from five and a very lucky one from five leaves me feeling pretty flat. I was dragged in by all the hype, great depth, Adam Blair, Moltzen at seven and the rookie front row one year older. In reality we dont have a no7 or a no1, we are a class front row short, we have a small aging backrow and a very slow backline.

With some luck they may turn the corner and squeak into the eight but that will be about it. Being an old tigers man their were plenty of years when a couple of wins would get you back for the next year, your expectations were low so everything was a bonus. With this mob our expectations are high so when they flop the disappointment is greater.

I think what ever happens changes need to be made just to freshen the place up

Can't lose interest, our current predicament is frustrating but makes for an interesting challenge for the club to fight back and get on track.

It's ok to feel disappointed and angry about our form. I'm sure the players do. I'm sure Sheensy does too. But to abandon the team just because these things are happening is pretty weak.

Our backrow is not small nor is our front row.
It is to do with the vigour they run the ball at as to why most of them get dominated (Ellis, KG, Woods aside)
And that running without vigour and dropping on first contact is coached
And that is the coachings of a dud coach who would have changed it when the game changed (for the worse) in 2006
He has persisted and persisted with this run soft, tippy tappy, shuffle, drop rubbish and 9 times out of 10 we get murdered in the ruck

Never in my life have I lost interest in my team, especially after 5 rounds, but now I'm over them. If we start winning I might come around again, but honestly that's how I feel. I am sick in stomach. Please change our coach, with anyone. He might not be to blame, but another voice has to direct the player. Our players get away with murder and the supporters suffer. These guys need someone like Daniel Anderson, he calls it the way it is.

Mate, you are possibly just a youngster who hasn't experienced some real lows of their footy team and you probably haven't expressed yourself well but I'm hearing your frustration.

As mentioned before this is a cake walk compared to some of the lows that Magpies and Tigers fans have experienced over the past 40 years.

In reference to our coach, he can seem to make some bad calls etc and plenty agree with you but trust me it could be a lot worse.

So you know…..embrace the lows because the highs are so much better.
