I’ve heard from a very reliable source who is very close to one of our FG players that JAC has backflipped on us... he earlier gave us a strong commitment he’d be signing with us after we rolled out the red carpet and committed to give him a real shot at FB with top $$$....just last week he’s given us the bird for Souths.... which is why South’s are manoeuvring their cap to sign him....peeved off big time!!!!!!

Reads like a bad novel, I’m pretty sure I read something like it last year though only with a different lead character. Forget Penrith and Parramatta, Souths are the ones who think that it’s ok to undermine us year after year and that smirking, lying poor excuse for a man is the one always behind it.

Pretty sure he said the club was nervous about it as well... The finals series just gives Souths and others about 5 weeks to clear the desks. If Storm would of release him earlier I think we would of got him as Souths were not in a good position back than.. Anyway I will hold onto the 1% chance we have of still getting him until it is announced.

I hope his wrong but was all over the LM situation last year and 100% spot on...
I for one will be happy once this is all over but still hold a little hope.

One thing that looks not right in that shopping list is that Liam Knight has only recently re-signed with Souffs. Doesnt make sense to then tell him to look elsewhere. He was one of their best this year as well,

He’s had a pretty uninspiring reign at WT. The COE will be great with our bog average squad. Recruitment has been woeful and Retention has been just as poor. Some on here adore him, I just don’t get it. Even if he didn’t actively stuff our Cap, he hired the people who did.

I have seen no evidence that anyone here adores him, however some of us here have attention spans long enough to remember what we had before Pascoe and how everything off the field has improved massively (which ultimately drives the on field). WRT on field, I am of the opinion that with the appointment of Madge things are slowly heading the right way.

IMO the "sack Pascoe" chorus everytime a player signs with another club is narrow minded and simplistic.
