He’s had a pretty uninspiring reign at WT. The COE will be great with our bog average squad. Recruitment has been woeful and Retention has been just as poor. Some on here adore him, I just don’t get it. Even if he didn’t actively stuff our Cap, he hired the people who did.

What are his KPI’s cos I’d be called in if I had his record

It depends what areas he is responsible for, In the areas off the field the club has been very successful. For the football department the club has made some strong hires in the last few years and is in the process of strengthening the pathways.

Honestly, we are a rugby league club, can we judge our leadership on the field please

100% agree. If their performance off field has been so impressive, does it ever translate on field?


Ill tell you what the opposite definitely does. We were (relatively) successful 2005-2011 but run poorly off the field......cue 10 years of misery.

The actions of those in charge in 2017 are why we are currently miserable. Were putting our faith in the Club to finally get it right.

Pascoe himself told me in 2016 that he couldn’t wait for 2017 because of the Cap space we had. You telling me we’ve improved since then?


Pascoe hadnt been in the role for 12 months in 16...Yes I am telling you that things have improved massively off the field since then and I believe it is starting to turn around on the field as well. **Cleary obviously screwed us.**

It is amazing the media has not even focused on that...Cleary not only signed players on terrible, long term, deals...but they were mainly all from his OWN MANAGER. i.e. they set up his clients on massively inflated deals at our expense. There should have been an investigation IMO. I sound like Toovey.... anyway...it still makes my blood boil. Go Storm.

The main guy there is Rabbits 21 and he posted it from this Matty fella.. Than he added below it that Matty is hit and miss with info.
But overall the Souths main guys all seem certain JAC is coming and thats the reason for the clear out of some players. Anyway will wait and see and cross fingers.

True but Ellery stated that Pom said JAC agreed to terms IF he got a release, this is the opposite of the truth. It means that if the Pom is true, JAC was prepared to wait a year to come.

I really hope we avoid Jimmy the Jet. I used to like him and we need his speed...but he has been terrible for Souths and has tons of off field issues that are well known.

Reality is if Bennet, who he loves and respects, has failed, no one will succeed with him.

Would end up a massive mistake.

True but Ellery stated that Pom said JAC agreed to terms IF he got a release, this is the opposite of the truth. It means that if the Pom is true, JAC was prepared to wait a year to come.

Fairly sure the Pom said that is our long game approach...but JAC has made it clear he is not waiting until 2021 for anyone.

Why clearly? What if Melbourne source a replacement for him (say G Jennings), then JAC can go whereever he likes.
