He was here when JAC signed with the storm, just not informed that he had long signed with them.

Never fear- JAC to Souths- just easy to move along an injured player to free up cap space, player slot and help Melbourne for the Rabbitohs. Unlike WT with unwanted players left and right and no-one wants them- injured or otherwise. WT have only been keeping his manager going through the motions. I know I'm a pessamist but a realistic one.

The strong keep getting stronger and weaker wither.

The Sydney Roosters are poised to try and swoop under the guard of the South Sydney Rabbitohs and lure teenage sensation Joseph Suaalii away from Redfern.
The Sydney Morning Herald reported the Roosters have entered the race for the prized youngster’s services in the latest development in his drawn out contract negotiations.

The 17-year-old was set to turn down a lucrative approach from Rugby Australia and sign with the Rabbitohs, before Souths baulked at some of his contract clause requests

Suaalii and his management reportedly wanted get-out clauses in their favour, which the Rabbitohs quickly shut down.

Arch rivals the Roosters are ready to pounce as the soap opera surrounding Suaalii’s signature entered a seventh month.

The NRL even considered a rule change to allow Suaalii to play before his 18th birthday on August 1 of next year.
ARL Commission chairman Peter V’landys will consider changing the rule to ensure one of Australia’s most exciting young footballers isn’t lost to the game
The star-studded Roosters would likely have to shed a player or two in order to fit Suaalii in their salary cap.
However getting the budding fullback in the team will prove difficult, with James Tedesco clearly the best player in the game, meaning Suaalii may have to bide his time on the wing.
However any play from the Roosters depends on the Rabbitohs letting him go before his contract with Souths expires at the end of next year.

Souths have been linked to Storm star Josh Addo-Carr if Suaalii decides to leave the club.

I would love Harry to stay, but there is seriously no way it is possible. People all act like Cam plays on = Harry a Tiger.

But the actual equation is Cam plays on = Harry is a free agent.

And, just listening to Benji now also, he would build a franchise around him. The kid will be getting offers of 700-800 a year. We simply can't pay that as things stand.

I didn’t see that . I heard a guy wary , of whether the tigers should pay JAC on potential , and that now we might have to work to sign him and pay overs.
To me , if he plays footy next year I’ll be surprised , he looks like he
Was giving out takes , not club info . And he sounded far more intelligent than dribblers like Paul Gallen , and Cory Parker . Be interesting if he does the pre match with Ennis next year . Might be some intelligent discussion for once

IMO Benji bit the hand thats fed him for over a decade,basically labelling Madge as one dimensional and out of touch with the "younger generation"
He just doesnt get it,is somewhat bitter,and frankly we'll be better off without his dissenting voice in the dressing room(and maybe one or two others as well)sending mixed messages
Plus a little bit shadenfreude talking up Harry knowing full well we arent going to get him
He needs to let it go

Even if we don’t sign him I don’t see how chasing him is a waste of time. Not like there’s any other talent available to sign right now and he’s exactly what we need. Not a waste of time to try sign good players at all a lot better than not trying at all!
