If it gets to November 1 all the teams will be able to sign him, we can’t compete with roosters and Souths. Just give them someone we make sure we get him, why risk losing our biggest signing in a decade.

I was confident we had him, now I know it’ll go into pre season and we won’t get him.

He is not our most important signing in a decade, he's a winger. Our most important/heralded was Josh Reynolds and now we are making him feel bad*, trying to offload him at every turn. Spine players and forward leaders are the important ones. The rest are window dressing.

Shouldn't have to, but he is going to walk into any rep team that he qualifies for next year, you can't say that about any of our current backs. Surely we havn't given up on 2021 yet.
