Nofo can go there full-time for JAC. They're not in the same class.

The only people who think Nofo is in the same galaxy as JAC are WT supporters.

It's not about comparing them, it's wanting both. No point having JAC on one wing and a Jennings on the other. A combination of Nofo and JAC is what we want, and if we can pull it off like that that's what we should be aiming for.

And RE Talau, you'll probably be the same people complaining about why we let him go in a few years ala Paps. He is VERY young and inexperienced, if the Storm really do want him (and its just a rumour as far as I know) that says a lot about him and his potential.

It's what a decent club should do. Why would they budge? Exactly my feelings about us with Matterson, and Parra then made the smart decision and didn't release our prop to us early either. Everybody new what we were doing, we were not hiding anything - it was widely reported.

We did however not advise the NRL. It was NOT cheating.

Burgess was medically retired - he had chronic and long term shoulder injuries and they got around the rule of having to be a new injury by saying that he was being retire because of ongoing infection after surgery on his shoulder. And the NRL signed off on it. Sam was then going to receive his money after being offered a role with the club. And all of that is not rorting - yea right.

Be great if we can avoid paying overs for JAC but we badly need a marquee signing not only to improve our winning ratio but also to help attract other quality players to the club. That said, he's a winger and should get winger's money upfront. He can get extra cash if the fullback experiment pays off for both sides. We are probably NOT his first choice destination, That's likely Souths but they're either not interested or can't meet his cash demands right now. The Dogs probably can and would likely give him a fullback shot too. They're our main opposition I believe. Maybe Nofo would welcome a stint down south for a year or maybe permanently. Wasn't he talking about wanting to play finals a few weeks ago?
