Its really not. There is no back and forth, no evidence of playing one against the other. There is no evidence that ANYTHING is happening and that is exactly as it should be. The Storms clearly said that if it wasnt resolved by the finals then nothing would happen until after the finals and that is exactly what is happening.

I dont understand all the handwringing. On the surface it appears to be all parties respecting each other and doing what they said they would do.

It is modern-day social media. An apparent need for constant updates and material to consume, and mental fabrications to fill in perceived lack of updates.

Case-in-point here, that JAC will not possibly be released by Melbourne during the finals campaign, so there is a clear reason why nothing has been announced. And yet some folks seem very concerned about not hearing about progress, as if JAC can't give his signature tomorrow or November 15.

Totally agree .. when a club or coach comes out and makes a comment in public .. it usually means the the opposite .. !! So if Bennett says "the Fox wont be coming to Souffs next season" .. it really means .. "the Fox will be at Souffs next season" .. !! Fanx Uncle Wayne for letting us know .. :smirk:

It also has nothing to do with Suaalii situation - Bellamy wants nothing to do with a Bennett trade. The master has lost the plot if he thinks they can make a play NOW for the Fox, although people will still make leaps and unfounded bounds to his conduct being the same as with every player Bennett has **ever** been linked to, and this meaning that Souths are somehow the front runners. He is, because it’s strategic. He does it to take all the focus off so they can negotiate in peace. He doesn’t actually owe anyone the truth. It will come out eventually one way or another.
