If he is not already signed and just waiting for the playing season to end to announce ....
than he ain’t coming.

That’s my thinking aswell. He has signed and agreed terms with the tigers. Melbourne playing hardball to get a player either from us or someone else. If this isn’t the case then he is probably sitting back waiting for a Roberts swap to Melbourne to join the rabbits.

How did the Warriors poach AFB if he was still under contract for a further 2 years? Kind of puts a dent in this November 1st negotiation garbage the NRL bung on with when it suits.

He ask/demanded a release and got it = free agent Warriors stepped in simple when a play wants to move until PVL does something to make players honour contracts players wanting out of contracts should have a transfer fee place on them which comes of the new clubs salary cap.

When you upset too many bikies ...it's time to get out of town ...his mrs feared for their lives

That excuse they trotted out is bollocks. As if the bikies wouldn't be able to track the fat goose down in NZ if it was that.
A novel excuse to get out of a contract.

How can anyone believe anything Wayne Bennett says. He was going to see his contract out at the Broncos - wrong. James Roberts will not be playing at South's- wrong. Adam Douehi will not be leaving South's- wrong. South have no interest in signing Latrell - wrong. JAC will not be at South Sydney - we'll see.

Don't forget "I didn't know that I wasn't allowed to break the bubble and go to a restaurant". The guys a smug mongrel who thinks he's above reproach and gets the irrits massively if someone dares question him about anything.

Considering he was a part of the team to come up with the protocols......

Do you recall Bennett saying “ I understand the video referee said the ball wasn’t stripped. I don’t understand how he worked that out.” Then there was the time during the halftime talk, his players had to break the news to him that they were ahead on the scoreboard. He is old enough to run in the US election. ?

In today's Sunday Telegraph sport page 50 Wayne Bennett is quoted as "We have all our 30 spots filled for 2021 so wee will be looking towards our 2022 squad and Lattrell is a priority."

Only last week Bennett stated that souths were not interested in signing. So to me that indicates that Josh is well on his way to Wests tigers in 2020.

I would have thought Souths have more pressing concerns.

I’d agree, but when Bennett says no, it’s most likely the opposite..

No, I feel quite confident that he will arrive for pre-training late 2020 and play for tigers in 2021.

I don't understand why the rorters haven't been mentioned as a possibility of signing him. They have lost Aubusson and more than likely SBW and the Morris boys won't be there next year and they have not made any major signings. So they could no doubt "legally" fit him in.

Morris boys will be there, according to what I have read.
