I think it would do a lot of us a solid if one of these guys replied with update..... I for one have been getting more and more excited about him possibly coming here and hearing others are now interested just makes me feel sick.. There not much in the article said dogs front runners apparently a fan of Barrett (like everyone in this world it seems) then the direct quote from JAC saying he not thinking about it until after GF and it’s with his manager.

Why is it you believe the paper immediately when a comment is made?

Maybe Tigers are just being money conscious. Maybe a player manager or two has an axe to grind. Maybe it's all made up.

Stay strong jonesy. I worry for you, "feeling sick" over recruitment and retention is a concern, esp. as a Tigers fan. It's just sport.

My guess is , it’s influence from news limited media to get him to go to thier preferred choice .because we as a club usually offer them nothing in regards to inside info , exclusives and even tidbits of info . They have an article about the eels failures ...throw in a jab against the tigers. Sammy boy is a drug addict wife basher , have a jab at us somewhere in the article .

Click bait article about how we missed on some player , turns out we weren’t even chasing him 75% into the article .

I know right. I would love him to come, but I don’t let it take over my life. I made that mistake during the big 4 negotiations. I’d wake up every morning and the first thing I’d do is check the forum for any bit of news. It consumed me . Then when everyone left I was gutted, and as a result really killed my enthusiasm and it’s never fully recovered. It’s not healthy to be that fully invested. There’s more to life.
