OFFICIAL Jack Bird #299

Someone mentioned on here that he likes his KFC it looks to me like he bought the F local store.

Get him Junior Paulo's nutritionist and weigh him every week during the off season till he gets down to optimum, when he feels fitter you never know it could provide a new lease on life.
we used to go to the local footy in the 90;s . Esky to sit on and a rug for the Ladies , Bucket of kfc ,the last 3 pieces were for the brave ,or dished out as punishment for the largest faux par of the day. Swimming in grease that the skin fell off

Rumours going around, Tigers are trying to offload Jack Bird. Does anyone have any more info on this?
I'm sure the majority of us forum members had BIG doubts on Bird when they first heard the WT were talking to him, seems we had good reason to.

Unlike AD who has proven quite a few of us wrong (including me) and has been playing a solid game in attack & defence, he's actually been the suprise packet this year.

Hopefully the WA Bears make him an "offer he can't refuse" otherwise I can't see anyone, not even the Titans being even slightly interested in him. Though they play completely different positions, I would rather even keep Naden over Bird who sadly hasn't reproduced the form he had at the Sharks or Broncs

I reckon a few clubs will be looking to off load some cap anchors to the Teddies.

He's on a two year deal. Next year is his last so Bears won't be involved.

buyer be aware , ps i liked kfc when it wasn't so dry
Apparently putting the chicken in a commercial pressure cooker keeps the moisture in more.
That's why when we "fry" our fried chicken it gets dry...

BTW Strathfield station has a chicken shop outside/opposite in the main courtyard. It's Korean but DAMN GOOD. like OMG this is good. It's totally ruined my diet but I take that over kfc. it's usually not try and super tender. ...

Death by KFC, DO ME NOW!

I wouldn't rather keep Naden, except on character.

I have total respect for Naden and where he has come from.

Bird gives us halves flexibility which we don't need. He has played in the Centers and can play in the front row. Total utitility cover.

you seem obsessed with filling our prop rotation with the most unlikely characters

Oh boy what a dud signing Bird turned out to be that's one Benji got wrong.

Royce gets the off season he needs to be flogged to trim him down to prove he isn't a dud either, really hoping he can turn things around such an asset with his size and aggression.

I wouldn't say that Bird has been a dud. We signed him for 2 seasons max as a utility, also for a bit of experience around the sheds as well. . He wasn't signed as the main man to drive our season or win us games. That was never the plan or the expectation.

He's kept fit and he's done OK earlier in the year. Not sure what position he's conditioned himself for tho, he looks almost too sickly lean to play as a forward. I'd say plans for the future with AD and Latu have shifted him to the side somewhat... rightfully so.

It's like a cheap online store, offers heavily discounted consumer goods, mostly shipped to consumers directly from China.
Naden isn't chinese is he ? lol, thanks for explaining, what a temu is.We need to build a culture so guys like Brent basically hang around for nothing

I was originally happy with signing Bird. He's a competitor with good footy instincts. It hasn't worked out in the end. Perhaps he could've played a bit part in a stronger team. Anyway, sure hope we can get an agreeable outcome and move Bird on, but I've got no hate for the bloke.

Sorry mate but at the end of your post you're almost agreeing. too small for the forwards and too slow for the backs a double dud.

Had probably 2/3 reasonable games that's it, time to fire up the shredder.

Who else is for the shredder Rock Hopper, unless its a SOO player forward /back we need both, id be happy with the team bedding down and owning their spots
