Jack Buchanan...

So was it necessary to move on Buchanan mid season to afford to sign up one of our most promising youngsters or was it a top whatever issue? It seems a bit concerning and lacking in a long term strategy.

Releasing a fringe player to sign one of our best youngsters seems like a good long term strategy to me.

Best of luck Jack - you gave your all for the Tigers.

I for one appreciate your efforts, you got us out of a few scraps and thanks for helping us out.

You were not always everyone's favorite player on the Forum, but you did put in the effort and had a dig. Hope you and Widnes are a good fit and that you win many games together.

Well said Russell .
i admit wasn't one of my favourites but i do appreciate his efforts.
I suppose it's easy to judge him and say he wasn't up to it but the reality is he was nothing more than a budget Squad player…..just a fill in until we get our Salary Cap woes on track.

I truly wish Jack all the best and a successful Career in the ESL.

Never a fan from day one but it is good he has found a way to earn a living for a few more years good luck! There is defiantly a move by the club in the right direction at long last .

He might have been a plodder, but he showed a lot of promise in his first yr. Shame he didn't kick on.

Must agree with most of the posters, we had great expectations when he arrived on the scene as a very young prop but, was he handled correctly, the old adage says that a front rower doesn't come good until their mid to late 20's, enjoy the North of England Jack, it's not as bad as they make it out to be.

Smart move, go over to ESL for a few years and who knows the NRL introduce a couple of new teams in two years and your back in demand.

No one ever doubted his effort and he always dug deep and not every player turns out to be like Artie Beetson

It seems quite reactive to me. Who are we going to release to sign up Tatola?

This will be Halatau's last year

Hope he kills it over there. I wouldn't be surprised if he gradually gets better over the years.

Geez, we suddenly look like a professional club. Sign a class player & have a young prop on the rise, so we manage to move on a fringe player without any drama.

This has been organised very smoothly. Is this the work of our new football manager? If so well done.

You have to fill the top 25 every year so there are always players moving on and others being promoted. I would say this was going to happen next year anyway but since JB had an offer to leave now it was moved forward.

Pascoe's done fantastic since coming down! Very proud!

You do not know what has gone on behind the scenes, but from the outside it seems the club is getting its act together. You would have to think Pascoe is the bloke who deserves some kudos for putting out some big fires and putting some structures in place that seem to be working.

A loss against the Dogs will squash all this positive stuff that is clogging up this forum!!!!!!!!
