Jack Littlejohn to Join Tigers 2016

If Lovett has been offered an extension ahead of Ava…bugger me I'll be driving to the gap, although I understand it might be a pretty long line...

This time im going to support Jason Taylor.

This is the sort of signing i had begged of Tim Sheens. The room for improvement here is the important thing. For too long our reserve grade team has been filled with players who have never been a chance of playing first grade.

Filling your reserve grade team with guys like this is the way to go about things.

I dont even mind the signing of Littlejohn, he is in the same category, he is aggressive, competitive and has a high level improvement in him.

Trouble with that as we all know is that they let Martin walk without even offer :unamused:

Michael Chee Kam Also joining the Tigers for 2016

Born 26 February 1992 (age 23)
Auckland, New Zealand
Height 189 cm (6 ft 2 in)
Weight 103 kg (16 st 3 lb)

Position
**Second-row, Centre**

Magic words right there! Finally, a sensible signing.

Signing makes sense and is a step in the right direction. I can't understand how Akouala and Funaki haven't had a crack this year. Is Chee-Kam likely to have more potential.

A brown dog has more potential than Akouala

Hi folks. As I mighty Queenslander, avid tigers fan, there is a player in the QLD intrust super cup that would be a cheap buy, and in my opinion would be a revelation.

His name is Shaun Nona. Attacking ball playing five eighth, slick passing , excellent kicking game, can tackle, approx 90 kgs, and can kick goals.

Good turn of speed. Use to play for northern pride, now at easts tigers. No I am not his manager.
Controls the game well.

Melbourne Storm I don't believe will resign him with Blake green and the enigma of Ben Hampton.

The commentator sounds like he's calling a race down the straight.

And we all thought the new board and JT would bring stability and improvement, Lovett being offered a new deal and Little John supposedly going to be signed please shoot me now add to that Martin leaving. We've gone backwards by a country mile and were playing better Footy under Potter much better footy, Taylor is a baffoon and this new board aren't any better.

Your a short sighted buffoon.

Chee Kam would be an interesting one. At 19/20 he was Pretty much the highest rated young back rower in the game. For whatever reason he hasn't kicked on in first grade. When manly signed him it was said the raiders didn't really fight to keep him, which indicates a bad attitude.

Worth a look, at 22/23 he may have matured and realized this is his last chance.

Chee Cam is a great signing if true - and even better if it's second tier.

Littlejohn isn't bad as long as it's also second tier. These kind of singings if they bear zero influence on our top 25 are perfectly acceptable.

@Cultured Bogan - Chee Quee isn't THAT much of a scalp…. :stuck_out_tongue said:
I knocked over Scott Coyte with one of my half tracker medium pace meat pies when I played Indoor cricket at Campbelltown.

Needless to say he'd already crunched my for 17 from the 3 balls he'd faced during the over, and the only reason he got out was he got greedy, and got stumped...

Wasn't fun facing his replies though in our innings - man that kid is fast. - although I did smack him for six on a third ball I didn't know a great deal about. :roll

Haha! Cheeks wasn't tough either, was invincible on the front foot, but drop them in short and he had trouble.

Nothing to lose with these type of signings. Just think of a Blake Austin purchase.

Massive wraps when younger, but hadn't kicked on at their current club.

If second tier, nothing at all to lose.

The Board has only been in being a short time yet we have Phil Moss brought in to fix our salary cap issues. The leaks which plagued the club have gone and the Board backs the coach via Marina Go. I am prepared to sit back and watch as I'm sure a phoenix may arise from the Balmain ashes and our team re-emerge as a competitive force. I am an unabashed Moses, Brooks, Sironen, Lovett, Tedesco, Simona and Woods fan. Come on M. Lodge you just need to get the silly off-field stuff out of the way to emerge as a real NRL talent.

NZ Warriors fans believe Matt Allwood may be heading to the Tigers. If true I think he is in the first year of a 3 year deal so the Warriors may be paying for some of his contract. I think he is a Tamworth product from Farrar, a specialist right centre with decent pace.

Is Allwood the aggressive centre that played for Canberra last year?

This would be an interesting signing if true. At times he has showed some ability but at the same time you have to accept that he has also failed at 2 clubs now and that has to be for a reason.

On ability alone though would be a handy buy and a better centre option than Malone, Lovett or Hoeter at least. Tap into why he has failed and improve that and he might be a great buy.

Exactly the same way Kev was let go by 2 clubs, and he is no star, or even an NRL standard player
