Jackson Hastings #251

Examples he gave was that he hardly mixed with players in the dressing room or outside of footy.

I think we seen some of it with his likes on social media about playing halfback.

Always two sides to a story , just posting what I was told. If I ever bump into Hastings I will ask him his side lol.
Thanks for reply. I guess i just don’t see being a loaner as putting himself above the team. Some people are just like that..

And don’t get me wrong, I’m a believer in having a strong bonding culture (if they bring good attitude to the footy field). Aka the recent Penrith and tigers 05. For me Hastings was the player who would call the players with poor attitude out. And they I reckon needed it.

Some other things he told me. Training has stepped up immensely. Benji/sheens/Farah being very well received and leaving a great impression on tne players.
It’s been 2 years now…can you reveal who the dunderhead you were talking to was? Is he even playing first grade footy currently? His comments on our training are very funny in retrospect.

In the words of the immortal Paul Kent
“I don’t know what the knock on him is, but whatever it is - it travels”

Different guy, but always seems nice enough…
seems to try / work hard - might be time for him to accept he’s not an NRL half?

" ......The 28-year-old halfback is on a ridiculously high contract of $800,000 next year and has been told he is free to look elsewhere, writes Phil Rothfield."

WOW- and to think we have probs with our salary cap.....
wow, and more wow what does make it for 7 clubs and just entering his prime, what a wasted career.
