I have been a Tigers supporter since the ‘60’s, never been more excited about a recruit than Jackson Hastings, the major thing that is missing in the Tigers is voice, he has a big one and am looking forward to his input

Ive been a critic of the decision to sign Hastings and Ive railed against the suggestions here that he is our next Captian/Messiah but it is clear he has worked hard to get another crack in the NRL. Lets all hope he makes a fist of it here. It will be a great positive story if he does...........or JRey 2.0.

Why would I care about how much "gravity" my post has. I have zero interest in your "scaling" of my post(s). This post, like all of my posts, are my thoughts and opinions on a subject. Like I said, I genuinely hope he makes it. it would be great for him and the club. Like Ive said many times, I can see many Josh Reynolds similarities and I hope it doesnt end up that way.

If nothing else, the amount of enthusiasm and energy Jackson Hastings is showing will be great for the team. This was missing too often last year.

My point is you attempted to write a positive Hastings post but you failed miserably by comparing him to Reynolds.

Just hate the guy and have the you know whats to support your opinion.

I don’t hate him. Far from it. If anything, I’m starting to feel sorry for him and the amount of expectations on him.

I haven't seen anyone thinking he's going to be a game changer... I think almost everyone has just said he's got a really good attitude and hope he goes well on the field. Not sure how that's high expectations, I hope all our players go well

Mate Im not the one missing the context.

This whole discussion has flowed from me making a genuine positive post about Hastings. It wasnt a glib positive post either, it outlined my reservations at his signing and concerns with the calls for him to be captian but goes on to make a positive note that I genuinely hope he makes it for the benefit and the club.

THAT is the context. Out of that you pounce on me with some imagined slight.

This place (and you) has seriously lost it. We can have as many threads as we all want about what is "wrong" with this place and the moderation of the forum........and then a page of criticism because someone posted a positive post about a WT player that aligns with the groupthink. Amazing.
