Jackson Hastings #251

Lock has been his obvious position watching him over the first 2 rounds. It allows Madden to stay in the halves, so that should make his supporters happy. It allows Twal to move back to prop too. His experiment as a lock has been a total failure.

When has Twal played lock this year?

I want Jacko to beat up all the other Half’s , in their face dominate , and be the guy they hate , then we got the goods to go forward , a competitor , a hard nut , no backward steps , the guy who pushes back at the props , gives them some crap , a bit of lip , a push-in the face

Cleary is not exactly lightning fast and nearly 100kg. Speed is overrated when it comes to halves.

If we’re talking fullback and outside backs, yes we absolutely need speed.

Will be interesting to see him closer to the ruck. When I was watching him at Wigan he was playing full back and 6 very wide off the ruck.

Think Brooks will be the main long kicker.

our Halfback is going to scare props now🧐

I hope he gets in Moses face this weekend and forces a few errors.

Hastings could very well be the best running half in the NRL, but we will never know if our spine isn’t settled, including the lock, with players who can concern the opposition.

I'm hoping he somehow puts some life back into Brooks.
The pressure is off him to control the game...start running!
