Jackson Hastings #251

Seemed to be a little clever on a few fronts, Or is it just me?
He's been doing it for ages.

Liking posts on Twitter from fans advocating for him to be the #7, replying to fans saying you don't need to be fast to be a half etc.

He'll need all the support he can get,
What other club is he getting the 7 at in Sydney / Wollongong?

It's 7 for us or bust, He plays ressies somewhere or somewhere else for us.

I don't blame him for that, even though I don't agree with him, but I did for the initial couple of weeks before the coaches here quickly worked him out.

Haven't seen him as a permanent half since then, but certainly a 13 and as back-up for the halves and hooker.

Wasn't he already often playing a utility role through 2021 in the UK before coming to WT, and maybe those watching more if it than me can confirm?

He is an A type personality. If you going to invite players on to contribute to discussions they have got to have some personality. He is good with banter, says what he thinks, and may over share - some will be drawn to him others won't.
He wants to win. He has a crack and embraces others who have a crack as well. He always supports his team mates publicly.

I like what he brings to the team!

if Sheens wants Brooks at 7 for 2023
If Sheens wants Hastings at 13 for 2023
if Hastings wants to play 7 in 2023
makes sense
Try and send Hastings to Newcastle to play 7
Get klemmer to Tigers in 2023
As for 2024
let that sort itself out with Brooks and douhie and whether they are signed or not
Brooks wants to play for Knights. Left that one out.
