The Wests Tigers roster could be set for an overhaul over the summer. Jackson Hastings’ future at the club isn’t guaranteed.
There are a number of people at the club who don’t believe he is a good influence on the team despite the image he portrays in the media for the fans. He has become a cult hero, but the view is different among most internally.
The Knights had discussed a potential play for his services. Inquiries were also made with the Bulldogs but it is not expected Hastings will end up at Belmore.
It’s not the last we’ve heard about Hastings. Nor Luke Brooks for that matter.

I find it strange why some want to play in a team sport but often resent being given instruction or being reprimanded. It comes with the game, right?

Man this is total BS. Hastings IS good for the team. He's one of our best players. He puts in the hard work and does all the effort plays. He's even moved to the forwards without much opposition for the betterment of the team. He's a guy you want in your team. This is just nonsense.
It's like saying Robbie Farah was a negative influence on our team. Okay sure he may not be the easiest guy to get on with, but he does everything he can to help the team win, and he's a damn good player to boot. This is a professional sport, not a community club.

It probably is true, but he is trying to frame Hastings as a villain when it's totally not the case. People will read those words and run with them, creating a false idea in their heads of what Jackson is like as a person.
I don’t pay close enough attention to his strike rate, are you claiming he’s on the money usually or off the mark?

I’d imagine it’s the same people he has sprayed on the field for being lazy and making brain dead decisions (Nofa, Liddle, Musgrove and by extension, Lee, seeing how he hangs off Nofa’s nuts).

Sheens may be playing the long term game. Re-sign Laurie and send him to the Storm for the remainder of the year for experience. Perhaps Staines can be acquired from the Panthers early?

If his role is what it is now , I really can’t see what his issue would be . He’s basically got control of the team , his pros are all to do with controlling the ruck and the forwards .
His flaws are speed and creating separation on the outside .
I don’t see what his issue is , outside of generally not happy at the tigers , because if we can start to win a few games , and move to the top of the table , and IMO if this is the structure ,and there’s nothing to say we can’t , then in the ball playing lock role , he could grab a blues jersey .
He will not even sniff that ever as a 7 . To me that’s the sell .
