Jacob Liddle #198

Does not look good for Cherrington, the rumours must be true, any ways good luck Jacob I hope you really kick on next year.

Would assume Cherry's gone.

But in the end while Cherry has a bit more attacking flair, Liddle is more of a natural footballer. He's 100% effort, tracking back in defence to make a covering tackle at half way, running out of dummy half and a solid passing game. His determination is something which perhaps puts him ahead of Cherry who i still rate highly but may be considered too flashy and not able/prepared to do the hard stuff in defence.

More than happy to have Liddle coming through the ranks as our long term hooker and getting more experience in all grades over the coming year.

Why the hell are all these players committing to the Wests Tigers…

Wouldn't surprise if he made his FG debut this Year...

Good signing!

Reckon he'd go better with Broses than Mania does.

He's a bit bigger and better defender (massive advantage with our two small halves in the defensive line).
He seems to take good options in the lower grades.

he committed just the other week as well - what does Stevie Wonder see here?
Love ya bro! I just called to say I love you!

Yes. We've got enough flair elsewhere . Just need a solid player like Liddle.

Good re-signing, I'm happy with this. I don't think we'll see Liddle anywhere near FG this season but with another off-season under his belt, I wouldn't be surprised if he made his debut next season.

I don't know what the fabled second-tier salary cap situation is, but may as well blood him off the bench if we are out of semi contention.

Timing is everything.

This time last year Mania was being raved about - hakas after games. Now he's probably off to another club and the young fella Liddle is suddenly the pea.

The Farah circus has played a part most definitely.

Good luck to both young hookers.
