Jacob Liddle #198

Liddle is more Cammy than Robbie…..

Hopefully the amount of work he has put into his rehab pays benefits ...him staying fit will determin how deep we go this year..

He has a swagger...

We lost our shape in attack yesterday when Liddle went off because the play the balls slowed down when Reynolds came on. IC made the right decision to ease Reynolds in though as there was no way we were going to lose the game at that point. Keep Reynolds on the bench and let him ease his way into the team. There is no need to rush him. We will still have depth come SOO where other teams up there with us may struggle.

The difference he has made to our attack and go forward has been immense. The kid has a good head on his shoulders too.

even on a day where he dropped some ball,he still proves to be a difference maker for this team.
we need someone to stand up and cover for him though.
would prefer we not try to force big minutes out of him just yet.

He is very good. A bit to work on still.

He straightens the attack and holds the markers in a lot better. For years the opposition have just lined up our first receiver, cramping Brooks space etc. They can't do that with Liddle and he is given LB just a bit of extra time that he is relishing.

People have very short memories.

More likely just selective ,anyhow great to see Liddie going well, just knew we would click when he came back.

The pieces fit now

I love his pace, it's awesome. The runs out of half yesterday got us on the front foot. MM and Godinet haven't offered any of that.

What both these players did offer to the team was 8 competition points ..well done.

They didn't offer anything, they stunted our attack in those wins. How many forward passes, poor passes and slow plays until they get relegated? I am certain if we had lost all of those games, you wouldn't be singing their praises.

Yeah, but we did win those games. I think that was Snake’s point.

There’s no doubt MM and God don’t offer close to Liddle’s ability although they are solid backups.

That selective pass he threw from dummy half to Brooks when he put Marshall over for a try was a gem. A touch of class that is not often seen in a player at his age. Also, the way he kept pace with Kev in the MWZ try really underscored his pace. No wonder the Storm chased him to replace Smith.

Well written accurate description

The only way we can make the semis if Jacob Liddle plays and fires.

Yes he may make the odd mistake, but he is the only one who can get our attack going forward and firing.

We have not looked good in attack in any good he has not played. The ones he has played, we have always scored more points.

Cant string games together, shouldn't be a problem as he matures but it isnt easy in the middle if you are a young small bloke.

McIlwrick needs to come in for me. Taylor killed us at dummy half. I think it was a real error by Cleary not getting Reynolds out there earlier.

Mcllwrick cant play 80

According to Cleary neither can any other hooker in our squad.

Killer can play maybe 60 tops, he was very poor in trials this year. But it cant get much worse.

It is a big problem for us this year.

Anyone got Robbies number?
