Jacob Miller

Reading on another forum that Jacob Miller is unhappy with his role at the Tigers and is seeking a release to join the Dragons, apparently he is a little miffed that young Sirro is ahead of him in the pecking order.

Now we just wait and see who signs miller , and then watch him become an NRL star …...

It,s all a bit odd ..how long do you think Benji will want to stay at 1/2..Sironen is a talent but already at 100kg his days at 5/8 are numbered .So Sheens has shafted Miller for this stop gap solution that will not last past this season .1/2's are like gold especially the ones with all the goods but in the Sheens world who needs them! Well maybe in 2013.

Why wouldn't the Siro Marshall combo last
At in fact I see it being the combo till benji retires which means miller won't stay if he wants to play fg - whether he makes it or not I prefer Marshall Sironen

He killed it last night in the 20s. Showed a mature, controlled side to him in tough conditions. I still believe this combination is the way to go

1\. Tedesco
6\. Benji
7\. Miller
9\. Farah
13\. Siro

Exactly. Unless he's been signed to play the last ten minutes off the bench

Yesterday was the first time i've actually been able to watch Miller live (and unfortunately the Tiges 20's very rarely get TV games) and to be honest I was disappointed. esp comparing him back to back against Siro playing seniors.
I was looking forward to see him really stand out aginst boys but he wasn;t dominant. At times he looked a bit flustered, at least 4 of his kicks were charged down. He's obviously a talented player but I was hoping for a lot more control of the game from him in a competition that is obviously a long way below seniors.

I agree. To suggest he "killed it" seems a bit of a stretch to me. Personally I was more impressed with Jordan Marshall-King based solely on last night. But the guy is still playing NYC and very few halfbacks debut at that age. Even DCE was well into his 20s.

I personally think Sironen/Marshall is a best halves combination right now. Miller is some time off being ready for full-time NRL. I have no idea of Sheens' long term plans or what he's said to Miller re his future. If Jacob can't wait to play first grade and wants to go elsewhere, that's his choice but picking him now just to stop him leaving makes no sense to me.

What in the hell game were you watching????

He was so dominate in that game it was not funny.

Directed the team around the park like a traffic cop. Wise up.

If this is the best and most viable way to
go I'm sure sheens wouldn't hesitate to use it ,

But what this all basicly amounts to is that

Sirronen , Miller and Anasta will all be fighting for 2 spots , 6 & 13

x2

IMHO Sironen/Marshall is the best combination ATM, and it all clicked from the start.
Marshall/Miller or Marshall/Moltzen combination did not work as well unfortunately.
Sironen played without any fear, something I did not see either from Moltzen or Miller when they were given a chance.

I quite like miller as a player, im under the impression he is going to St George, not that ive heard this anywhere official, but was under the impression it was a done deal.
I think he is a good organiser, but have concerns with his physicality in contact, he will most likely be NYC halfback of the year in consecutive years, but I think we will only be able to keep one of him and Siro, id go siro, but still think Siro will end up an edge backrower.
