Geez we would see different opinions of this fella if he was in a good quality team . I myself pre judged him, but he has undeniable talent.

So you don’t believe it’s the fullbacks job to make multiple tackle busts each game and create line breaks and/or try scoring opportunities for his team each game ?Look up the definition of fact, because you absolutely don't know what it means if you think your talking facts
That’s the key thing mate, you have to judge Wests Tigers players on moments, not necessarily stats like tries, metres or line breaks, our team simply don’t generate enough good stats as a whole.Geez we would see different opinions of this fella if he was in a good quality team . You’re watching Reece Walsh play behind the best forwards in the comp and crediting him for his better moments. So you don’t believe it’s the fullbacks job to make multiple tackle busts each game and create line breaks and/or try scoring opportunities for his team each game ?
One line break against Tino when playing the Titans last season doesn’t give a highly paid NRL player a free pass not to make any tackle busts or line breaks for the following season.
If you cannot see it, if Benji cannot see it and if the rest of our fans cannot see it, then we will just have to be happy to continue finishing in the bottom 2 each season.
So you reckon our forward pack makes it impossible for our backline tn shine each and every week ?You’re watching Reece Walsh play behind the best forwards in the comp and crediting him for his better moments.
Did you see him in origin two in a losing side?
No, I reckon all 13 as a unit aren’t good enough. A lot of momentum these days is created by classy wingers and centres, which we lack.So you reckon our forward pack makes it impossible for our backline tn shine each and everywhere ?

I agree that all 17 players have to contribute and the centres and wingers need to heavily contribute in metres made out of the danger zone. No, I reckon all 13 as a unit aren’t good enough. A lot of momentum these days is created by classy wingers and centres, which we lack.
In a team sport, it’s not advised to judge individuals too harshly without considering the team.
At this point it is factual until proven otherwise.Hahaha...you just said if Benji can't see it and if the rest if the fans can't see it we will continue to finish bottom 2. So your right and everyone else is wrong?....that's one of the most arrogant posts I've seen
At this point it is factual until proven otherwise.
I’d expect him to be up there in run metres and number of runs purely because as a losing team he’s bound to get more kick returns.I might suggest those saying Bula doesn't get involved enough actually are not paying attention.
2nd highest amount of runs (241) by a fullback in 2024 behind Kiraz, who also plays wing/centre. 5th highest run metres by a fullback (2,102m) in 2024 behind Edwards, Tedesco, Kiraz, Nicoll-Klokstad. 10th in Tackle Breaks (47) for fullbacks in 2024. 6th in Offloads by a fullback (13) in 2024.
I'll tell you where he IS in the bottom level of fullbacks.
Missed tackles. 12th in the NRL for fullbacks, with 19.
So yeah, I guess he just doesn't get involved enough or something.
The spine gives the team structure, most teams have x-factor players out wide who can create points when there is no structure. Jahream has shown an ability to do that given limited opportunities. The challenge for Tigers recruitment is to find 3 or 4 other players who the defence needs to worry about. Luai and Turuva are a good start but I think we need Dom Young type winger also. When teams have to defend multiple threats, players like Jahream will have much more time and space, and you can't tell me you haven't liked seeing him in space.I agree that all 17 players have to contribute and the centres and wingers need to gravity contribute in metres made out of the danger zone.
Although this is definitely an area that needs improvement, there has been plenty of occasions where this has been done well.
The spine is obviously the teams x-factor and need to come up plays to create line breaks and try scoring opportunities and this is where we fail miserably despite having Api who many believe is one of the best attacking 9’s in the NRL.
When he accelerates and attacks the space it is great to watch, why is that only happening once or twice per game ?The spine gives the team structure, most teams have x-factor players out wide who can create points when there is no structure. Some of what you’re say has some merit but to say he can’t be developed, might still be premature, but yeah he needs some work. I said earlier in this thread that when the team starts doing the things that take no talent the players with talent will shine. He can’t be developed as a fullback as he has no idea how to assist with the playmaking and does not run the ball aggressively enough to bust tackles or make line breaks.
He does his best, but it’s a failed experiment.
Many want to blame Wests Tigers, well I watched him play for Fiji against Papua New Guinea and it was exactly the same.
Daine Laurie is a better fullback.
Go back and watch the try he scored against GC last year against a retreating D line. You can't simply break down a set defensive line in the NRL, the team needs to create the space by quick PTB's and offloads etc etc. When he accelerates and attacks the space it is great to watch, why is that only happening once or twice per game ?
The try where he combined with Jayden Sullivan against the Dragons is what should be happening much more often as should the wrap around play where he has been creating line break opportunities for Doueihi and Faatape over the last couple of games.
If this intent was there from kick off each and every week, we would not be having this argument and Wests Tigers would be a lot higher up the competition ladder.
The try he scored against the Sharks earlier this season was similar.Go back and watch the try he scored against GC last year against a retreating D line. You can't simply break down a set defensive line in the NRL, the team needs to create the space by quick PTB's and offloads etc etc.
It's frustrating as hell watching us attack the line because we are so one dimensional, they slow down our ruck and then make sure Jahream is marked well. We need more threats.
And it will happen with better players around him because defenders have more to be concerned about. The form of our centres and wingers this year is much more of a concern than Jahream. The try he scored against the Sharks earlier this season was similar.
That is all good, but as I’ve stated doing that once or twice per game us not good enough.

It's not to say that other players aren't also playing below their bests but the facts are still clear.I hate to be that guy that blatantly labels someone's opinion as wrong, but you really leave no choice. Your harsh criticism of Bula without looking at the bigger picture of his journey, the team he is in and blatantly ignoring things he actually has done by saying he can't even do them is stupidity of the highest order.
All things you say he can't do he has shown before our very eyes he can do them. Your being like a school yard bulky picking on a young kid to be a hero.
I've backed you up at times on here Vicious when others have gone in on you, but picking on this kid so often shows both poor judgement and terrible character.
Go pick on the senior guys that are absolutely offering nothing and letting us down 100 times more than Bula is.
