If you are confident Bula is good enough to help us become a top 4 team within the next couple of years then we pay him whatever it costs to keep him.
Ink and yourself among a few others seem to want on have a crack at whoever doubts Bula is a good enough player to help us become a top 4 team, therefore all us others will remember that and hold you accountable if we don’t improve over the next couple of years.

Is Bula individually a player that alone will get us to the top - no - but he certainly has the skills to fullfil his role if the rest of the squad continues to improve. I would say every game that we played well as a team, he featured in.
He is not the make or break player - very few are - so the continuing singling him out when there is clearly other identifiable weaknesses in the squad is why you get pushback.
Connor Tracy FB for a top 4 team - I know who Id prefer.

Don’t know how it would’ve been possible for him to stand out Fiji were dreadful, Halves and Hooker not even nsw cup level today let alone PNG spankiy them hard in the middle.

Between Conner Tracy and Bula... I would say neither is at top 4 standard.

You have Latrell, Teddy, Dylan Edwards (possibly getable), Hammer, Ryan Paps, Walsh, Ponga, Turbo...

You want someone at that standard. Drinkwater/Weeks start coming in after that.

Bula "Could" get to that level and he has the physical talent. Some games he has for us. ...

Still not top 8, so I kinda get the club not opening up the wallet yet.

Seriously you have lost the plot. I have agreed with you on Bula’s weakness areas. Also agreed on salary.

What I don’t agree with you on is the panic and BS approach you take often to belittle Bula which isn’t needed.

Learn to read especially what you quote, I said the halves weren’t even NSW cup level in what you quoted….

Everyone rates players differently. Can guarantee there are elite FBs who don't get their teams into the top 4 every year and or top 8. When the team plays well so does Bula off the back of that and unless we have an elite FB willing to come to the club replacing him, with someone lesser or developing, will only see that said player facing the same challenges if the other weaknesses in the squad are not addressed.

Well Monday seems like the day we get some info , going of that photo of Luai ,
Is it him confirming his stay
Is it Bulla confirmed new deal or take up his option
Or is it both , both seems not likely as it would be big news for the club and probably want to milk good news stories separately, Bulla one week Luai the next , or is there a player joining us nobody expected , one more sleep and all is revealed ,

It would be nice if we get some solid news and they present the 2026 jerseys at the same time... But I doubt it... Id say it's just the jersey launch

Lol..i dont profess to be any expert like you, and i dont profess to be a fortune teller...my main issue is if we lose him we lose a big part of the cohesion and and communication the spine has worked on this season...starting again isnt favourable.

It is Canterbury as our new apparel manufacturer announcement - look at the official social media (the hints are beyond obvious)...

Both Luai & Bula are in international camps and the front office is not jumping at shadows like most here.

@Kul should be charging Isaac Moses rent for the amount of time he evidently resides rent-free in the otherwise empty heads of many forum users!
