Whilst I don't think he is worth $900k, I would activate the option for 27 in order to buy us more time to get a replacement ready. There are a few kids in the lower grades that could come good by then. If he maintains his current form we are probably paying $150k more than he is worth, which is peanuts in the wider scheme of things.

How about letting them negotiate behind closed doors....

Bad business paying anyone 20% more than their worth

Watch out Red, @Snidest 0 is on a roll, he will make a tin hat for you with those kind of comments.
I wouldn't touch Moses with a barge pole personally - but I don't live in fear of his influence as a supposed bogeyman!

All the discussion about throwing $900K at Kolomatangi amuses me - because I know Tyran Smith will still not entertain the Tigers as a destination for any of his clients.

The stain of the previous administration (& HBG Board interference) continues to cast a larger shadow than Moses/Cove Agency!

Maybe but he needs to concentrate on that chess game if he wants to win. He only has a few pieces left, black is dominating.
Yeah he’s playing from the back corner. That is where Fruit Pascals and Baggipant left us, ready to for checkmate. Richo is working his way back from a stalemate.

It’s been a long time since I played chess and I think it shows with that piss poor pun/analagy, I think I’ll go back to making tin hats with @Snidest 0 and I reckon @Vicious will be joining in.

Izaac Tui'itupou is managed by Tyran Smith's agency and ended up in the Magpies NSW Cup system and eventually went on to play one NRL game this year. Obviously he could be managed by someone else within the agency (like Payne Haas managed by Merhi) or maybe it was the best contract offered to him and the player decided he thought that would suit best. But I guess it's not really too comparable as Keaon would have at least 5 other clubs going hard for him with big money offers. I personally don't see him coming to Tigers but certainly would love to have him.

What’s Tryan got against us?
Another one cut by the West’s Tigers juggernaut ?

My way of thinking biz is biz, you shouldn’t cut your nose off despite your face, and the leg you piss on today could be attached to the ass have to kiss tomorrow.
You can’t just cut Isuk measles out and stick your head in the sand. You be careful and wary but biz is biz, keep in the game and we might get one back on him.

It was his only offer.

We are building bridges with Tyran after the previous era - but he will only field offers for Kolomatangi from preferred teams.

Yeah, I wouldn’t be having regular coffee with the guy but agree with BF that we can’t be cutting managers off completely.

I think Tyran Smith would be the same, if a player of his wanted to come to WT he may not be happy about it but if push came to shove he’d probably make the deal happen.
