Gus will deny it till he is blue in the face, Bula off to the Dogs, that's why they have not signed Tracey beyond this year....3 year deal aligned to end with Galvin... Issac Moses is a rat, he hates the Tigers and will always shop his good players out of the Tigers system... Godinet is next if he takes off... not sure what the WT can do about him....

Longer it goes on is not always a great outcome , I agree what’s the hold up , I would say Mosses is chasing wevery single club and getting offers to see where Bulla goes , my issue is Bulla , if you are stilllooking with 2 contracts under your nose , I would just piss him off , we can’t be held to ransom , dogs want him sell him. Now , before season starts , simple give us $ 300 k take him we put funds into juniors , we start the season and Bulla is still not signed he will have a shit year and so will we

Attard is the start of plan B.
Which beggars the question, they suspected he was overpricing his worth and loyalty was not a part of his persona.
Hope he stays but at a fair price, but not overly disappointed if we have 2 years to replace him.
Interesting if he tanks or mediocre performances to secure an early release eg. The Mr I. Moses specialty.

and we can still sign him for 2027 for $900k...which I suspect is where we are heading.
Buys us a bit of time
My guess is Gus cant get close to our $$,which is holding the inevitable up a bit,,,but he will get him eventually given Laundys sponsorship
Am sure were easily the highest bidder locally,and if he was committed to WTs it wld have already been done

Yeah. Not sure activating a clause for a player who doesn’t want to be here is the answer either if we want to have a good year

Young players are driven by managers , Bulla has Mosses , Bulla knows mosses and Benji don’t see eye to eye , he seen mosses ruin our season with Galvin , he would see clearly mosses is looking to get a deal from another club to match ours and Bulla will move on , if he loved the club and coach and the coin is right he would have signed already , Bulla is offering zero loyalty to his coach , club and players in his team , piss him off

He won't stick around for the whole contract, Moses is a master of getting an early release. He will play Origin sadly while at the dogs.

Agree mate but it cannot be just the managers, this keeps happening so at some point the club has to take accountability. Titans & Dragons are where we are results-wise and their kids still want to stay at the club i.e JC, Bai, Kade Reed. It’s not just Moses either our junior retention that are under other managers has also been awful. Somethings got to give

Sort of agree, Bula knew Moses history with the club when he took him on as manager.
 
If Bula goes to the Dogs then may he and Galvin both experience career ending injuries on the wrestling mat, injuries that are not covered by the normal insurance coverage, it is then found that both Gus and Ciraldo are responsible due to their negligence, and both of them are rubbed out of the game.

Spiteful, yeah I know. 🤣

Yeah these are my thoughts. Although he probably likes the idea of being perceived as being loyal rather that shove it in our faces like Galvin did.
 
Does anyone know if the club put a timeframe on the contract to be signed ?
I would still personally take a gamble on Sloan from the dragons at a lot cheaper rate, as he isn’t in St George’s side at the moment.
I know he needs work on his defence but his attacking game imo is more dangerous than Bula’s.
Anyway let’s see what eventuates when Bula finally makes a decision.

What’s the answer when these young players are generally asking and expecting us to pay above their market value to stay ?
On the flip side a player such as Sione has just been loyal and agreed to stay loyal on what is reportedly a very fair price.
Adam Doueihi also stayed with us for a very fair price.
So it’s not all players trying to take advantage of our kindness.
