League is ultimately a short term job. After their footy careers, a small percentage of players will go into coaching or into media, however, most will return to the trade or degree they completed.

The problem is that there are some player managers who are unscrupulous, more concerned with lining their pockets than the progress of the players they represent.

I think the Elvis reference applies to most managers of "stars" irrespective of their specific 'talent'. They seem to end up much better off than their client.

Why does he want to play for Flanagan?

Why would he join a team that hasn't really started rebuilding yet, with veterans past their used by date on their books as a stop gap & players fleeing Kogarah like rats escaping a sinking ship? Why would he go.there if they secure Drinkwater?

It can only be his **** of a manager, who seems to hate the Wests Tigers, pushing him towards leaving what is now one of the hottest teams in the NRL. Unlike Romy coming to Wests Tigers when they were down, you can't build a club around a fullback, no matter how good he is.

I wish Bulla would make his intentions clear NOW so the club can move forward.

Bula will hold out for the best possible deal, with preference to stay put long term. No doubt, keeping other clubs interested is part of the strategy. If Tigers don't meet the $ expectation, they risk losing him. Being able to retain him with the club option just kicks that can down the road.

Moses will want a new deal now. Can't imagine putting it off 12-18 months is his preference, unless the deal is for Perth or PNG where huge $ are in play.

This is all my thinking. I think Bula signs a new deal at last possible moment, before club takes up option for 27.

I don't think he has any intention of doing a deal with the Dragons but he - Moses - is attempting to put the same crap out about wanting to play under a "different coach" - re Flannagan. That didn't come from Bula but suddenly blokes in the media are aware of it.
We saw how that sort talk unsettled the squad last year and got Galvin an early release and I hope that they wise up to the scum bag and his low life tactics.

say Bula comes out and says he is going to the dogs for 2028, I doubt Benji keeps him here for 2027, he would look to use the cash for someone else.
That is probably why we have apparently been in discussion with tyrell Sloane from dragons.
Who knows he might be a stop gap for a year until maybe Attard is ready or someone else comes on the market. Or does the club look at a will Kennedy
