I’m thinking he wants to stay but Moses is trying to up the offer. If he wanted to go to PNG they’d just activate the clause and he’d say he wants to explore come November. But they are negotiating now and we can stop him going to another club next year.

I think he stays for 2027 either club option at 900k or player option 800k
if neither side takes up an option (cant see why we wouldnt do that to buy some time) then he is free to go in 2027

it will be interesting if he tells the club i want to explore my options in 2028 then should the club just cut losses for 2027 and save 900k ?

As for 2028 pretty confident he will not be here

A long term deal would be nice as not much out there to replace him with and he is a good player

I think it’s impossible to say either way what he’ll do. I get the feeling it’s been money rather than unhappiness that’s got him considering other options. I think it almost certain we’ll trigger the 2027 option which would rule out Perth. I’m not sure where that leaves options. I’d reckon PNG might want AJ to play FB but if not I’m got doubts he wants to go there.

Think they are getting their Fletchers mixed up, Fletcher Sharpe is the gun player that would be a good replacement for Bula, if you could prise him out of the Knights that is, pricing it at 500/1.
