I'll admit I spend way too much time on this forum, and that I don't look ar other teams' forums. Do other teams have so much drama around their players and their contracts? I feel like we've been discussing Bula's contract since he debuted! As well as every other half decent player we've signed. I am so done with all the drama 🙄
At this point, I'm bloody grateful that Luai has signed with PNG, knowing he'll bust a gut for the rest of this season and next for us. And the Mays (after nearly having a heart attack watching their *joke* announcement!).
I guess Bula will sign, or he won't. But just like "the Big 4', I just want something confirmed. Stop all this BS chatter every damn season!

Suzie take some time out to look at some of the other forums, considering the dramas we seem to constantly have at the Wests Tigers, we are really quite sedate.
Other clubs don’t have things play out in the media like we do which sparks most of why people are reacting here. The other thing is most CEO’s don’t comment on recruitment/retention - for some reason we do and it often bites us.

there always difficulty with anything and any one managed by Moses with our current management

If they lose 8 straight that’s pretty much their season over . There’s no way on earth they’re winning 10 from 14 just to break even . Let along probably 11 from 14 to guarantee a place . That’s wests tigers level dismal .
Look at the mays manager . Comes in on Tuesday , contracts sorted by Friday . Gets his clients good money , negotiates in good faith , knowing everyone wants the same thing , and it’s done . Not Isaac though . Constantly searching for leverage , both external an internal , trying to manipulate and undermine , using his mates in the media , creating false narratives to apply pressure .
It’s bullshit , and whilst I get he works hard for his clients , there’s a reason a lot of the older clients dump him (not morons like woodsy), as I think they realise he represents them and their brand and ultimately that’s not a good thing .

Here here! This contract saga crap every single year is a real pain in the arse. We can’t even seem to shed the problem when we’re winning games!!
I have no idea about other teams issues either. If they do have any long running contract stand offs, I certainly don’t see as much about theirs in the media as ours and of course being in here all the time makes ours stand out even more to me.
There are obviously players all over the league already signed to other clubs for next season, but I’d like to know also if there are players that are holding their club to ransom as much as our players always do to us here.
