We don't need a procession of injury prone outside backs, we've seen horror runs in the past with a few early retirements to boot.

That being said the team needs 1 or 2 genuine speedsters, our boys are getting burned out wide.

Not here on the forum, but around the traps some of my fellow Wests Tigers supporters questioned the signing of Pat Richards on two occasions.

Some the first time, some the second time and both from a couple of people whose pre judgement was found wanting.

Listen Ive got no problem with Jake if it was for 3 years at $550K.$600K

Its the four years that escalates to $800K.

That's my problem.

And if anyone says why whinge?

Are these the same fans that whinge when they back a new signing (like 99% of people do -- because "It's different this time.") and then when they turn into duds -- blame the player or coach or admin for singing them to long term deals lol.

Taylan, KPP, Bula, etc -- good deals.

Jake - dud deal.

I'm allowed to have a negative opinion if i think its a dud deal for the club.

It's not going to be $800k. You're dead set creating a narrative to suit yourself. And no I was never happy with MBye or Reynolds signing. They were on much more a year than Averillo will be next season at a time when the cap was only 65% of what it will be next season.

And they were were pretty ordinary players IMO before they arrived. I was disappointed in those signings

This is very very different
 
25yo is the sweet spot for outside backs.

Pascoe’s dads army signings were all late 20’s and past their prime. Dragons currently suffering from similar signings.
