With the Dolphins coming into the comp, the identification, recruitment and retention of players (especially youngsters) becomes a top priority. It is good we are getting our systems in place now. Strap in because I think it will get interesting, especially the implosion among Qld clubs.

Lots of hype around Tallyn Da Silva, but I still think this guy has it. There is something about him. He looks good out of dummy half.

His passing game is crisp, improved heaps since the start and he's only just 21. Definitely a future top shelf hooker, ideally the club should aim to keep him around somehow until Da Silva is (if) knocking down the door to first grade. I'd hate to see Jake striving at another club, been a fan of his since his debut

Kid can play. I like Simpkin.

TDS is a weapon but I’d let the kid grow it’s not easy in the middle. Needs some size on him for regular first grade. He’s young we have time.

I agree...

He is a talented player but isn't exactly well rounded...

He isn't really a long term answer within our club though... just keeping the seat warm until the TDS take over.

He was very poor. Had a real opportunity tonight starting the game but getting caught twice out of dummy half is something you rarely, if ever, see in first grade.
Maybe the rumour about him possibly going to Penrith has some truth in it and he wasn’t fully focused.
Soon as API came on things went up several notches.

Also, just a quick nod to Pole, thought he had probably his best game since his promotion .

Totally agree.Maybe he needs more football to develop his skills (which are not obvious), in KOE or somewhere else.

Been saying for years he has no future here…
I’m still not convinced what sort of future he has… good kid, hope he’s sucked as much out of Api as he can…
Don’t know DaSilva is as far away as some people might think.
