James Gavet > Warriors

The Warriors’ stunning season 2016 recruitment drive has continued with wrecking-ball forward James Gavet set to be announced as their latest signing.

The bounce-about forward will join superstar signings Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Issac Luke in New Zealand this week after the Brisbane Broncos released him.

Gavet, 26, suffered a knee injury last year and is looking to resurrect his career back on home soil with the Warriors after stints with the Bulldogs and Tigers.

And I'd suggest there goes the Copley to the Tigers hopes

Shame because I think we are a quality player short of being a realistic shot at the eight and Copley is a quality player.

I doubt Gavet will make the top 17 at the warriors. He is pretty ordinart. Also only good for 15 minute stints.

I'm just glad we have them in Round 1 - That warriors team on paper is enormous.

Rounds 1 - 7 is going to be the best shot any team will have to take them down, barring injuries.

if they stay relatively injury free and IF they play to their potential, (Two very big IF's) that team will win the comp.

This is the warriors. They will look like premiers at some point before falling away and ending up also rans.

The Warriors always look like they have a side that will challenge for the trophy but until they change their attitude and toughen up they are always going to be wannabes. Too many players that going missing during games.

Kata and Hurrell are an awful centre pairing defensively, especially with Manu and Jono Wright outside them. They'd be better with Lolohea in the centres and Robson at halfback, that would be a better balanced side all round. They also have better options than Gavet and Gubb for their bench - poor discipline is the bane of the Warriors and those two have it in spades…

Yep come to think about it there is no way Robson would go to NZ to play NSW Cup

Palavi and Henry will most likely be there too

Ayshford would be there but not at the expense of

Whens the last time Gavet wasn't injured? he has played 14 games in the last 4 years and 12 of those games where for us back in 2014 lol. he was 1 of the bash brothers with Tapau for us back then. If he had a full season with no injuries he would go great guns, he is only 26\. I don't think he will be in the top 17 in round 1 though. I think he needs a few games in nsw cup just to warm up, then if he goes well put him on the bench.

Gee i miss that bench

Ava
Sue
Tapau
Gavet

Brooks/Tedesco combination was working off the back of them four and The Brothers of Destruction Woods & Keef

We were killing it till Teddy went down, what could have been if he had just stayed fit.
