That's a guestimate. When the injury happened and based on the length of time for recovery, anywhere from round 15 to 18 was going to be a likely return time.

He said on Instagram yesterday or today another 8-9 weeks, he needs another op to remove screws from his foot.

Yeah the guy hasn't even played a premiership game with WT! It will take him the rest of the season to fit into the team, so may as well write off seeing the best of Gavet this year. We need more props now, not when the season is nearly over!

Who even knows if he will give us go forward?? And what happens if buchanan or woodsy or bodene breaks something on june 31??? (touch wood) then we're are totally stuffed cause we figured that an okay player, untried at the tigers, will be back in round 16.

Let's try to buy a kasianoesque player who leads the pack and does the dirty metres ASAP and if we cant manage that for june 30, only next year, then buy someone on match payments for the rest of the season!

Geez didn't realize it was so bad. What was the actual injury he suffered??? Based on time spend off field this year, he's better offer just getting himself right again, maybe getting a few games in state cup later on and then prepare for next season.

Don't you think it is important for us to

1/Get into a good field position so any useful 2,3,4 or 5 we may buy can be effective

2/ have a solid 6 and 7 who when we get into field position can utilize the ball well so the 2,3,4 or 5 have high percentage scoring opportunites

3/ Yes you might be right , we might need to acquire new centre or possibly 2 if Ayshford doesn't keep steadily building or Rowdy doesn't get back to his best but we have Koroibete who is the most exciting wing option since TNT and Nofoaluma building nicely

Add to that the potential of Mr T in the future our wing stocks are pretty good

The thing with props is we started the year with
Galloway -injured
Woods - injured at start of the year , injured last week and playing with injury at the moment
Buchanan - injured this week supposedly
Groat - just back from injury in nsw cup
Gavet - injured
Bell - playing lock
Ava - fit
Mosese. - no explanation needed here I hope

So from 8 props we have 1 fit and playing prop -that is some kind of front row curse so even if we signed someone else who knows how they would stay fit

I mean if we had to play last weekend we would have been missing this weeks whole front row as well woods, farah, Buchannan.

Then we would have had no Ayshford or Lawrence in the centres as both were injured

I think we should be investigating our training techniques and more importantly finding more money to spend on rehab program's as the big clubs spend more money on these things and as such are more successful

Surely you dont think those players were actually injured last week?

I do feel the club is struggling with injuries, as I'm sure most clubs would. But what I cant fathom is why our players seem to spend so long on the sidelines after injury?

that's just 3 with more than 5 first grade games under their belt… hope you see where the problem is
