James Graham

I'm guessing that Souths will flick big Roy Asotasi (who is on a massive contract and has been underperforming for years) in order to make a play for Graham. When you throw Burgess and Russel Crowe in we probably don't stand a chance. Even if we were going to make a play we would play probably have to get rid of Payten and another decent player to afford him.

Hopefully Royce could help us out and we in return do the same something like a deal with the Tigers sending Payten and we get Graham.

Yes..but he is coming in 2012…

Forward planning is required...especially when you are up against Rusty, Uncle Nick and Co....

Fair enough

Learoyd Lahrs is off contract 2012 as well!!!

Would love to have him in a Tigers jersey. Maybe another thread? :lol

Sure by all means do….No rule against it

If it's a choice between TLL or James Graham then ....it's Graham for mine..

see.. It's called a difference of opinion...discussed on a forum....in the off season....that is getting loooooonger *sigh

Aweseome!!! He will go well in the NRL.

Maybe the Forum could build a network for his 3rd Party Payments to ensure he becomes a Tiger…

That's right. Tigers announced the signing of Ellis in 2008 IIRC? A season ahead of his debut. Article in the DT today said Souths were looking to sign Burgess's three younger brothers and there's talk of making him captain as well.

They could get rid of Roy Asotasi, use that money to sign the 3 Burgesses and make Sam the captain.

Hopefully Royce has a word in Graham's ear and sends him our way for 2012\. And maybe Humphreys can jump on a plane over to the UK as well. Seemed to work last time!

realistically, i think we are about 0% chance of getting Graham. We'd need to free up a fair bit of cash and that would involve losing a number of players, probably fringe ones. In turn affecting our depth. It would be great but i can't see it happening.

Sheens has been quoted as saying if the quality is not available here …the Club would look elsewhere for quality players...Graham fits the bill and he will get to see him close up in the Four Nations as well as the Royce connection...

Wests Tigers have a lot off contract at the end of 2011...the one's we want to keep we will....Enough room can be made to accomodate quality...

Check out the comments in the article…...

He sure was impressive in a beaten side tonight. Him and Galloway would go together like arr carrots and argh carrots . Get him in the side

If he is ready made and fits readily into the NRL like Gareth Ellis, then it would be money well spent, if it takes him a season or two to find his feet then persevering with some of our younger forwards would be a better option.

Has anyone noticed that "Derek from Campbelltown" says in the tele article he'll be here next year? Remember who Derek from Campbelltown is?
