Yes he has behaviour issues but give him a chance. The kid plays fullback, wing, center and in the halves. He is a gun player and would be good if Tedesco or Nofoaluama decide to not extend their contract with us, he can cover 5/8 if we need him to. We arent coming in the top 8 every year so that we have a choice whether to sign bad boys or not. I for one will be p*ssed off if we dont sign him especially because he will be cheap. 1 year deal and 2 years in our favour, get it done grant!

Willow come off it. Roberts is a ridiculous talent and we could get him on the cheap here. We'd be nuts not to be taking him. He'd walk into our backline right now.
 
I would take him on a performance based deal. A once in a generation player who will kill it barring injuries and stupidity.

We should definitely be offering him a contract. Insane speed and extremely evasive. Would be a perfect centre/wing/fullback replacement if and when injuries strike and could force his way into the squad if players such as lawrence still aren't performing.

Really Willow? I would take him over Lawrence and Anasta any day tbh. What if Simona comes back a different player after surgery with no confidence and isn't the same player that was playing for us last year? What If we lose Nofo or Teddy?
 
Yeah I'd take him. We as a club need to be more desperate to win games of footy than appear as the codes nice guys because we all know where those people end up.
 
Just as easily sign Blake Ferguson as well

No guarantee that after two strikes that the NRL will ratify any contract either

The difference in what they would be asking would be massive. Risk vs rewards, roberts is the better option
 
Would take him in an instant, the bloke will be a star and is a mile better then Lulia, korobiete or Rowe

Grab him. The current crop of tigers youngsters seem to have their heads screwed on. A team of good young heads can change a player IMO. Don't know about ferguson. Head too far up his arse me thinks
