Great outcome for a really decent bloke. On a night where just about every other WT player showed zero passion or commitment, Jimmy's blow up at least showed he gave a damn. Hard to see anyone else signing him for 2023 so Round 25 is probably his last NRL game. For a bloke who's achieved pretty much everything the game can offer, including a premiership, he should end his career with his boots on either with us or with someone else.

Here's hoping that Klown gets to referee Tamou's last game at Leichhardt Oval, although even the NRL would not be that f@#king incompetent.
Tamou introduced himself as Latrell Slater at the hearing tonight and was awarded the Clive Churchill medal.

I'm good thanks mate, hope you are too.
Yep Cummins is an embarrassment to the game, along with a handful of his cronies. Yet the NRL HQ encourages those sort of rejects. Amateur competition from the very top down.

Which lower grade refs do you suggest take their place?

I’m happy Tamou gets the chance to retire with his boots on.
2 weeks for calling a spade a spade would have been far too harsh. Raiders pack are hard arses. We‘ll need Jimmy properly motivated. He now has that.

Let’s hope the team lifts as it did in Townsville.
A belated 300th present, and not like the Tommy tribute game !

Yes I hope this give him a extra week to make sure he is up for the last game and comes out with a absolute rip in attitude , put the radars on the back foot early we can win games if we get on top like the broncos game , same this weekend , the instruction should be simple all work together and hit hard as possible in tackles and run straight at them , on too early is always the key

That photo of James and his wife says it all. They look like they won the lotto 😁
I think he'd like to go around again but at 34 he's getting a bit old and grumpy 🤣

I don't know. I'm not in charge of developing referees sorry.
Would it be too much to ask that the officials that are in control of the NRL, a supposedly professional competition, at least be capable of doing their jobs even remotely to some sort of professional standard?
No other sport in the world needs the boss of the officials to publically speak every Monday to smother over and make pitiful excuses for them in regards to their continued hopeless performances.
Get some new ones in, train them up properly and hold them to account if they produce continued substandard performances. Surely it's not that hard of an ask?

Media are reporting that there has been an outcry from fans that James got off with a 1 week suspension. Are they really upset? Where are these upset fans.
Most of my mates either said they don't give a shite or good on him for giving the ref a blast.
But then again, most of my mates are rough around the edges.

Alex Seyfarth posted on his IG story a very nice haka for Jimmy Tamou...
Can't post a video but looks very emotional.

It looks like he's definitely retiring. Did Tamou ask for it not to be made a big deal?
It's criminal of the club to not give him the farewell he deserves.
FFS he's played 300 games at prop, played for blues, kangaroos, Won a premiership and played in 3 grand finals.
A final home game at Leichhardt and not a peep about his career from the Club?
Maybe he's signed elsewhere? This is baffling.

So if that was his last game, did the club do anything official for him?

Very poor form.
Hard to believe they didn’t care…
They were suited up in a function room, few lads doing the haka...
Might be a behind closed doors thing...
Why is it baffling, yes, to you and I it sure is, but this is typical WT's form isn't it!.
