No we didn't beat the judiciary at all just got the charge downgraded to a more realistic level.

Brandon called the ref a cheat suggesting that he was influencing the result to produce an outcome.

Tamou just suggested he makes a lot of mistakes. What were the respective gradings? One clearly worse than the other

Great outcome for a really decent bloke. On a night where just about every other WT player showed zero passion or commitment, Jimmy's blow up at least showed he gave a damn. Hard to see anyone else signing him for 2023 so Round 25 is probably his last NRL game. For a bloke who's achieved pretty much everything the game can offer, including a premiership, he should end his career with his boots on either with us or with someone else.

I just didn't like the anger and smug look on the referees face as he marched James off the field.

I’m happy Tamou gets the chance to retire with his boots on.
2 weeks for calling a spade a spade would have been far too harsh. Raiders pack are hard arses. We‘ll need Jimmy properly motivated. He now has that.

Yes I hope this give him a extra week to make sure he is up for the last game and comes out with a absolute rip in attitude , put the radars on the back foot early we can win games if we get on top like the broncos game , same this weekend , the instruction should be simple all work together and hit hard as possible in tackles and run straight at them , on too early is always the key

I don't know. I'm not in charge of developing referees sorry.

Would it be too much to ask that the officials that are in control of the NRL, a supposedly professional competition, at least be capable of doing their jobs even remotely to some sort of professional standard?

No other sport in the world needs the boss of the officials to publically speak every Monday to smother over and make pitiful excuses for them in regards to their continued hopeless performances.

Get some new ones in, train them up properly and hold them to account if they produce continued substandard performances. Surely it's not that hard of an ask?

Media are reporting that there has been an outcry from fans that James got off with a 1 week suspension. Are they really upset? Where are these upset fans.
Most of my mates either said they don't give a shite or good on him for giving the ref a blast.
But then again, most of my mates are rough around the edges.

Its the media and callers like Mark Levy who are outraged.
