James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

Toby Adams aka The Mole tweeting Moses is considering backflipping and re-signing with us. Wonder what that would mean for Tedesco and Woods.

Well if it isn't about the money you'd like to think Tedesco would take a small pay cut from his reported 1.2 mil offer to be able to re sign Moses lol. I for one believe if all 4 sign, they'll show there real talents, there mind isn't on winning matches atm, there mind is on boosting there reputation resulting in boosting there price tag. Once they re sign, the club will be drama free and under Cleary I reckon you'll see these boys hit a new level. Moses right after he signed the option in his favour blitzed to a new level and now contract negotiations have got into his head and to be honest I don't blame the kid, he's young, a lot of $ is being thrown at him and the media are all over him.

Cleary will help find that balance in Broses that they're been lacking for a while, there connection has't been great but I'm confident Ivan can help steer them to be a great halves combination.

I for one am very excited for what the future holds, buckle your seat belt boys cause the bus is in motion. :sign:
 
If the four of them backflip and stay than we will have bugger all money left to introduce new players to our roster and to change culture we need a influx of new talent

Well I don't think 2 have signed elsewhere yet,,,

Club and Cleary have made it clear that Tedesco and Woods ate priority re-signings..Do you think that has changed,,?

Our do you think it would be a very poor retention decision…?

I agree. The priority must be to sign Teddy but if Woods is asking too much or taking too long to decide and messing us around then he can hit the road. Woods is a lot easier to replace than Teddy and we could buy some good, hard running props like Matulino to replace him and still have money left over.

I think we will be better off without Moses. I don't think him and Brooks compliment each other and to be honest I don't want some spoilt brat thinking he's the next Joey Johns on our team. We'll be better off letting him go and getting someone like Widdop or Johnson to play 5/8.

If Moses flips and we end up keeping all 4 we will be right back at square 1 - no money to buy any new players and a team without a decent goal kicker. This whole situation needs to result in a massive change - plodders out, new blood in.

This could be a blessing in disguise.
 
I just hope to god the Tigers don't over react to 1 or 2 wins and spend half the cap to keep all 4 happy.

This place needs cultural change and do that it needs a change in personal. Not only with coaches but players.

I would rather we Keep Brooks and Tedesco. I would rather Moses leave.

However I get the feeling now it could be we keep 1 from or 4 from 4.

Call me an idiot but i would rather 2 from 4 or 3 at the most.

Lets start building a forward we would have killed and died for since 2010 -11 and see what happens with these players then ….

Yeah, I remember it well as I was one of the few who actually said Teddy was free to do as he pleased.
 
If Moses is backflipping, could it be because one/both of the other guys has signed elsewhere and there is now more $$$ for Mitch?

This fiasco is becoming more ridiculous. Just wish they would all make a decision and put us out of our misery.
 
Better off without Moses.Hopefully we get at least one of Woods and Tedesco, both would be a bonus the way things look.If we lose Moses and one or both of the others at least it frees up a lot of cap space. Like Woods but props can be replaced. Teddy would be a massive loss.
 
Aren't we trusting that Cleary will make the right call on these players? We all have our on thoughts on who should be retained. I hope all four are retained as long as it doesn't compromise the balance which Cleary is obviously attempting to achieve. Sean Johnston is the only half I'd have to replace Moses.
 
I cant help but think that Widdop will go to Melbourne now that Cronk is leaving.
I hope Tedesco stays…..Woods and Moses i wont lose sleep about.
 
Isn't it ironic that to some the only way of retaining these guys was to sack JT and bring in Cleary. Hasn't exactly worked out that way has it.
